They’re all good. RED ROCKET is so much fun. Watch that one next.

I guess I’ll just make this a thread for vintage stuff. I went to thriftcon to source this weekend and ending up picking up this BAD LIEUTENANT shirt for myself. I’d been looking for this one for some time.

Bad Lieutenant shirt with naked Harvey Keitel experiencing existential dread

Back which reads “GAMBLER. THIEF. JUNKIE. KILLER. COP.”

86 new movies. Last year was 286 new movies. It’s a huge fall off. Not really less interested in movies, just been so busy with other stuff.

On a related note, I’m skipping AFI FEST and this may go down as the year I watch the least movies ever. Currently sitting at 101. Beginner numbers.

I don’t think I’ve said it here yet, but I’m opening a vintage store in Mar Vista with my wife right now. Currently tediously tagging and pricing hundreds of pieces of clothing. Hoping to have grand opening in next couple of weeks. Super excited and also pretty scared, totally new territory.

Glad they preserved the original poster for the flip side of the cover.

Good mail day. Some movies require all of the 4K pixels.

The Hot Spot (1990) on 4K UHD from the fine folks at Radiance.

Popular podcasters told me it was a return to THE GUEST. I listened and went. They were very wrong.

Good mail day. Wasn’t really expecting a physical release for this one.

First it came for people smiling at you in public. Now it’s just eye contact. Better to just not leave the house at all kids.

Ebert would have been great at this kind of YouTube content.

Maybe try liking all the songs in your playlist. I find that tidal does this too because it prioritizes songs that have already been cached because they are favorites.

Listening to the new archival release from The Cramps and I don’t think I ever realized how much DNA they share with The B-52’s.

It was definitely the one-two blast of LYNCH LAW CLASSROOM and SEX & FURY that rescrambled my brain a bit.

Forehead lines and fucked up teeth are underrated things that you don’t often see in new movies anymore.

I believe I remember Brian Cox saying he turned down the TLJ’s role and kicking himself because it led directly to THE FUGITIVE.

Really love both Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Busey as the villains too. They’re both having a blast.

I missed last month’s Barnes and Noble Criterion sale, but I grabbed these from their new Arrow sale. Watched both of these a lot on VHS back in the day.

Good mail day. It’s the whole bloody affair. No plans to watch this anytime soon again. Also got the Mojave 3 first four album reissues, but you’ll have to take my word on that.

Actually kind of a fun pairing. THE RIP is definitely less good, but they will play off each other well.

Good mail day. Two new releases from Australia boutique New Wave Video. Kind of scared to watch VISITOR Q again, but I feel like I’ll be more prepared for it now than I was at 20. Also grabbed NUN IN ROPE HELL, so yeah…
