Attended screening & discussion of beautiful film Félicité recommended by organisers of Afrika Eye Festival. 1 day left with many films: www.afrikaeye.org.uk Look forward to talking with organisers soon about how such films might deliver more #diversity & #representation in school curriculum.

This kind of lovely feedback lights the fire in me. Looking forward to having coffee with Julz next week to talk more about the goal to make Bristol the #civilrightscapital of the UK and the role of the school sector in our city to undertake #antiracism work towards achieving that. #EDI #equalities

Celebrating 60 years of the Race Relations Act after the Bristol Bus Boycott. I was given the platform to talk about schools' role in #antiracism work resulting in many new connections. Was grateful for the lengthy 1:1 chat & encouragement from Lord Boateng at the event & when I gave him a lift!

On #RemembranceSunday, let's also not forget the 4million+ Black and Asian #warheroes who fought for the British Empire in #WW1 and millions in #WW2. British history must tell the whole story. #representationmatters #notjustasinglestory #britishhistory Video credit: The Trapped History podcast

Stark data at Ambitious about Inclusion conference hosted by @centreforyounglives.bsky.social & @mission44.bsky.social. Given diverse challenges of the vast region of SW England, I hope that pledges turn into concrete action. In Bristol, challenges are huge but also rooted in our specific context.
