Universities should be at the forefront of at least slowing down the tidal wave of AI tech that is overwhelming every social system we require to survive. Instead, gov’ts, industries, & uni admins charge us to prepare students for the AI workplace. Wake me up from this nightmare.

White supremacy is more responsible than anything for what happened to Jason Arday. Nothing he did deserved that from the British media, higher ed apparatus, and political punditry. The US really was born from the UK in so many ways.

This really is quite something. In the 15 years @carbonbrief.org have tracked UK media, 2025 was first ever year where more newspaper editorials opposed #climate action than supported it. Meanwhile, the *actual* climate crisis deepens by the month. Go figure.

Just read an article from a white Western scholar who contested the findings of an article researched and written by an Indigenous colleague and myself, advancing a very damaging gov’t narrative that this particular Indigenous identity does not exists - but they used ‘local research assistants’ 🙄

One by one, Europeans mentioned in the Epstein files who still hold political office are beginning to resign or are being forced out of office. Meanwhile, ruled by an administration almost entirely made up of Epstein associates, the US carries on as if nothing really happened.

I'm calling for a full apology for the Tinker Experiment: state-sanctioned cruelty that forcibly removed children from Gypsy Traveller families & put others into accommodation with no water, electricity or heating. The scars on & in the community are still visible today. We must have justice.

Most people don't know this: that Scotland's Gypsy Travellers had their children and their culture ripped away from them. It's history that's been swept under the rug. ScotGov must listen to this report, and give a public apology for its part in this cultural genocide!

Im specifically hearing these anti-trans ‘compliance investigations’ are going to start with the University of Maine system because of Gov Mills standing up to the dictator-in-chief last week, and that the investigation will likely widen to all schools in Maine receiving federal funding.
