Apparently, this is NOT a hoax.

I used to buy a lot of these when I was a commuter student thirty years ago. Most of them got saved and repurposed as bookmarks, which I still occasionally stumble upon while going through my collections of books. They weren't that cheap back then. Best to hang onto them after using them up. 😎

It's ironic how a short reel about Interstate 22 in Birmingham has exactly 22 comments. I had to screenshot it, you know.

This is still one of the cutest memes I've ever seen.

"Who do you think would be best candidate for the title 'Best Ruler Ever'?" The ruler that I used in the first grade (1983-84), which I still inexplicably have now that I'm almost fifty. 🤣

In fact, there's my copy of the game, where it's sat unopened since the day I picked it up.

Last I checked, neither length of Interstate 35W were anywhere near Louisville.

"What TV commercial is still widely recognized years after it stopped airing, and why has it remained so memorable?" I'm sure those who grew up in the eighties probably remember THIS guy:

One interesting story from that thread. It may be possible that the OP's father knew his son was going to embarrass himself asking a girl out for the first time, so he put the kibosh on it before it could get to that point. Dad probably could have been less blunt about it, to be fair.

But I have a paid subscription to YouTube...

This is my favorite Calvin and Hobbes strip.

I'll donate my old license plate to them.

From a thread about the saddest thing anyone's seen in a casino. ...ouch.

Okay, when did Instagram start doing this? It reminds me of Nintendo urging players to take a break for a little while.

A few months later, Tuxedo Cat did hang around long enough for a picture.

Two years ago tonight, a few cats stopped by to hang out. A black and white cat also came by, but left before I could take its picture.

And here's your screenshot backing it up.

For once, I'm hoping this is either a hoax, or someone's attempt at a joke, but we all know deep down that it's not.

Damn, this turned into a hell of a match today.

"Did you know what 86 meant before the Comey situation?" Yes, I did. "8647" isn't a new thing. I took that picture at the beginning of June last year.

Somewhere out there is an alternate timeline where these gentlemen made a record together (with a trumpet solo by Miles Davis), and it was ridiculously awesome.

An old picture of me from November 27th, 2003. For many years, I always thought I looked a little awkward in this, especially with the position my hands are in. Now, I wonder, maybe people are right, and I am neurodivergent to some degree?

I tried it once in June of 2016, for the record.

As seen where I used to live in the last half of the eighties. I was 49 years old when I noticed Garfield was colored incorrectly on the sign. Never saw it as a kid...
