A MAJOR aspect to UPA inspired styles is off-register coloring. When mimicking the UPA backgrounds, DO NOT fill in the outlines properly.

Fuck ChatGPT flyers. The future is broadsheets.

A crowded broadsheet with way too many fonts. It says:
Forget ChatGPT Flyers
Say it with
Broadsheets
Unlimited fonts
Stretch them
Or cram a really long sentence into one line for no good reason
No whitespace
Mix capital and lowercase
Pointing hands
(They're called manicules!)
Don't be left behind
Broadsheets are the future

Meet Mr.YEN! A few days ago, I posted some vegetable characters I made, and, would you believe it, a farmer gave me a whole bag of fresh veggies the very next day. So this time… well, you know.

Early TV ads were a lifeline for Japanese animators. This stuff allowed for amazing creativity, even when other avenues didn't. Japan had world-class animated ads from the '50s onward. We're looking into a few of them today: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/japans-oth...

Hello id like to spend all at once please

4 panel comic.

Panel 1: A pink blob character in suit tells Forg “you did a good business”

Panel 2: the pink blob in suit hands forg a dollar bill. He says “here is your pay”

Panel 3: forg holds the dollar bill. The man in suit walks off the frame. He reminds forg “don’t spend it all at once”

Panel 4: we see now that forg didn’t really listen to his advice. He stands in front of a building labeled “things you don’t need store”, dollar bill still in hand ready to be spent

Raiden is the main villain of the show. He wants to steal the magic from Le Chateau for himself by using his special shapeshifting abilities! Will he be able to succeed in his objective?

At this point, I think I should just take a break from social media. I've been feeling horrible about what I did recently. Bringing up past drama that happened barely a year ago. Dunno how long this break's gonna last, but I'll return eventually. See y'all soon.

/vent Being completely isolated from my house has made me feel dumber lately. I can't think of new ideas, all the stuff I learned is starting to fade away, my attention span feels like it's getting shorter, and it's all making me think I'll never become a successful person. 1/2
