I'm not keen on talking about her condition in details but it relates to a workplace injury that limits her mobility. She once said, when she was earning very well, she'd accept the govt cutting her out, over poorer people, so long as she could keep the blue badge. That she needs.

Yes. I'm talking about my own mother. And yes I was crude...She gets x amount of money and it is her choice to use it on a car. She gets a new one every 3 or so years. it more like a lease system really, but she's surprised it was never cut when people far worse off than her lost benefits.
