That’s a gorgeous bike. It’s hard to imagine that it’s what they did that years ago. The more recent ones that stand out have a fairing and low profile front tire that I don’t care for. My sister rides a soft tail with a springer front-end. I think it (was) gorgeous. (Until she had it repainted)

I, again, put a motor and two batteries on a fat bike this past winter. This one has a Bafang BBShd at 52 volts. It has a 15 AH primary and a 10 AH range extender. I have no idea how far it can go, but my backside seems to be good for about 25 km.

I was intending to install my brand new 52 volt 10 AH battery (Samsung type S cells at 14s2p) with Bluetooth battery BMS (yes I know battery BMS is redundant), in place of a production 48 volt pack and I dropped it.

This is it now with the front hub motor, a Rad Power Bikes 48 volt battery and not the correct rack. (The Streamliner rack moves the deck back about four more inches) But it also has black rims on either end and 35 mm wide tires)

How high up did you mount it? I installed an automotive fog lamp under my front rack, it’s cut-off doesn’t allow it to glare. But I also have the laser for high-beam.

Security for all of our bikes takes extra effort. For storage, we have a 18 guage steel shed, its door is alarmed. Remote control motion alarms attached to the bikes squawk if they are moved. Hex link chain locks and grinder resistant u-locks help secure them.
