My first baby blanket for donation. The top is pieces I picked up at the last fabric swap at my quilt guild meeting, combined with free batting and binding, backing from a 5 yd coup from Goodwill, and the remainder of several spools of pink thread. It was fun to make! #quiltsky #babyquilt

After my mom died, Dad had a ring made that combined their two wedding rings. He never wore it saying it was too feminine for him. When he died, the ring came to me. I had it resized from an 11 to a 6.5 so I could wear it. I think of them both every time I glance at my hand. #weddingrings #momanddad

Everything except 5, 8, and 14. I can go a few older. Used dialup where you had to dial a number on an actual phone, then quickly put the handset into a device so the phone could communicate with the other phone, both hooked up to computers with less than 10 mg. Also, anyone used 8" floppy disks?

As part of my studio revamp, I bought a new chair for my sewing machine cabinet. I fell down the wood stairs at our old house about 15 years ago & broke my coccyx, so need extra cushioning to sit comfortably. This should do the trick. If you are AuDHD like me, texting is far more comfortable than phone calls. Phone calls require instant responses, and I need time to put together replies, especially when I can't see the face of who I'm conversing with. I have always hated talking on the phone, even way before texting was a thing.

Oh boy, yes! I'm starting a tailoring class and I bought fabric to go with that as well as quiling fabric, quilt templates, Lego minifigures, and two new-to-me Keto cookbooks. My husband hit the jackpot with 25 medieval history books he didn't already have in his extensive library.

Got back last night from a 3-day trip from Indianapolis to Cleveland and Columbus, OH. We are planning to stay in York, using it as a hub, and visiting Leeds from there. We have had our trip planned for a long time, and were supposed to fly to London on July 2, 2020, but... oh well. Luckily I bought travel insurance for everything, so the only money I "lost" was the insurance cost.
