Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 24/09/2026It’s a little embarrassing for both me and the duck how often I look something up and then just copy it and look it up in google when the results are bad 050

Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I assume some of that color palette was a result of printing limitations at the time, the the yellows in particular are so striking in so many retro futurist books and art. Seems like a huge missed opportunity that the sci-fi action in the trailer looks like Clone Wars coruscant 020
Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I’ll have to live vicariously through others. My options where I live in VA are predictably mediocre. 010

Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Yeah not a lot of sympathy when one of the most successful songwriters of all time breaks down because they actually said what they thought and experienced consequences 041

Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 20/08/2026That last reply reads a lot like how Google maps AI summarizes restaurant reviews when you’re just trying to find out what time something opens 000
Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Oh this sounds like a great concept, subscribing now. I’ve wanted to run an Exceptionals campaign for a while but have had trouble finding players. So this might be as close as I get to playing an Xmen TTRPG lol 220
Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Yeah I did not like seeing it but I did think it was a pretty good bit that the letters for the title are popping up and you’re like “oh it’s other mother” and they’re like nope! And that stuck with me more than the horror parts lol 140
Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 20/08/2026I think I did the correct and normal thing where I listened to Lore Reasons then I watched a like 100-episode YT playlist that recaps the lore in chronological order beginning with the mobile game, and then I listened to lore reasons again 000
Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 20/08/2026I went back and watched the Umbara arc then been re-listening to that ep of the pod this morning. Amused that @ 1:04:35 Austin says “I wanna know what happens after this arc.” Really is just a good premise for a game. 000
Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 19/08/2026The show could have been Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christiansen being in their feelings the whole time, but no, gotta do a lot of flaccid chases on the 10 feet of Volume set and provide an origin story for every style and word choice Leia ever had. 020

Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Other apps might do this now, but it’s also really easy to delete everything you have downloaded without changing your listening history. Ben @bengregson.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Overcast if you’re on iOS. The dedication to not making an Android app is still confusing but I guess you can only expect so much from a single dev’s side project. It just has a simple UI and all of the settings I want (mostly skipping ads by show and smart playlists) 100
