Tonight, internet strangers, I would like to tell you a tale about "Just Do The Thing". Whether you have ADHD, a short attention span, a lack of drive, or something else, if The Thing takes a few minutes, it's probably time to Just Do The Thing. I am extremely guilty of this, and here's a story:

Addendum: I found a picture in my camera roll from when the new watch arrived. August 2nd, 2023. I literally held onto these watches for over three years. I don't have any valid excuses here. I didn't Do The Thing, then tonight I Did The Thing, and it was easy. I need to hold myself accountable.

Tonight, she asked again. Heck it, let's try right now. I'm pretty sure I've had the new watch for three years now (!!). After trying a method with a small clamp to get the engraved back on the new watch, it works! The watch is up and running again. It took me like 20 minutes. Just Do The Thing.

I bought a replica not only because I broke the first watch, but because the back of this watch is engraved, and we needed that intact. New watch arrives a couple weeks later. I stop focusing on watch repair. My mom asks occasionally to get the watch prepped. I feel terrible that I haven't.

I was successful in replacing my batteries, and my mom asked me to replace a battery in her husband's watch. It's got a back that you have to pry off and push back on. I broke the stem inside on my first attempt, so I went online and bought a replica.

Years ago, back when I had a desk job and a desire to get tinkering, I bought a watch repair kit. My intent was to replace all the batteries in my watches myself, as I was once a person who wouldn't ever go out without a watch and a hat.

Remembered to download almost everything I got through previous Kickstarters for @mst3kofficial.bsky.social on the Gizmoplex before it shut down, except for Season 13. Thanks for the memories Joel but selling the rights (and getting new Rifftrax episodes) was probably for the best, in the end.

I did notice a few months ago that the instructions got slightly more specific, I assume to help out the dim users, but sorry I can't help out otherwise. I think I startled the sales person who joined me on my first run when I yelled at my phone and its new voice. Got it changed quickly.

I discovered this when I started my work shift today, changing it in the settings to 'English (US)' and not 'Default (English)' changed the voice back to the way it was before this update

Tonight, with a win and a Cubs loss, the NL Central division title is in Milwaukee for the fourth year in a row. They locked up a playoff spot last week, and it's a steady pace to get the number one seed in the NL standings in back-to-back years. Will this be The Year??

In 2008, the Brewers *finally* made the playoffs and I started jumping on the couch. Years and years of Bob Uecker getting us fans through woeful seasons. Today? I'm pumped of course, but the Brewers making the playoffs is darn near the baseline now. It's time for this team to hit it big. Go Crew!
