Life doesn't always go the way we hoped it would. There may be difficult moments, unexpected challenges and days when things feel harder than usual. But every step forward matters, even the small ones. Keep going. You may be stronger than you realize. 😊

We all have experiences that shape who we become. Some teach us strength. Some teach us compassion. And some help us understand what others may be going through. Our experiences may be different, but there is always something we can all learn from each other. 😊

Autism is different for everyone. 🧩 We each have our own experiences, strengths, challenges and ways of seeing the world. There is no single way to be autistic. Understanding that is an important part of autism acceptance.

We all see the world through our own experiences. Sometimes, taking a moment to listen to someone else's perspective can help us understand something we may never have experienced ourselves. There's always something we can learn from each other.

We never truly know what someone is carrying behind a smile. Everyone has a story, struggles we may not see and strengths we may not know about. A little more understanding and a little less judgement can make a bigger difference than we realize.

Sometimes we focus so much on what makes us different that we forget how much we have in common. Behind every label is a person with their own story, feelings, hopes and dreams. Take the time to see the person, not just the difference.

One of the most important things we can do is take the time to understand each other. We may experience the world differently, think differently and face different challenges. But those differences don't have to divide us. They can help us learn from one another. 💙🧩

Imagine a world where nobody is made to feel less because they are different. A world built on understanding, acceptance, kindness and inclusion. That’s the world I believe we can create together. 💙🧩

My autism is part of my story. But it doesn’t define the limits of my story. I’ll keep using my voice to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes and remind people that anything is possible. 😊

I share my experiences because someone out there might be going through what I’ve already been through. If my story gives even one person hope, then it’s worth sharing. ❤️

Ben Canham @bencanham.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
I’m not sharing my story because I want sympathy. I’m sharing it because if my experiences can help someone else feel less alone, then they have a purpose. ❤️

I’ve shared a lot about autism, awareness and supporting others. But there’s another part of my message I want to keep sharing my own story. Because sometimes, sharing where you’ve been can help someone else keep going. ❤️

Never underestimate the importance of checking in with people. A simple “How are you?” can mean more than you realise. Sometimes, just knowing someone cares can make all the difference. 😊

Maybe that’s why we need to tell our stories. Not because we have all the answers. But because sometimes, knowing someone else made it through can be enough to keep going. ❤️

Ben Canham @bencanham.bsky.social · 02/10/2026
Sometimes you never realise how much your story might mean to someone else. What you’ve been through might feel like just another chapter of your life. But somewhere out there, someone could be going through the same thing and wondering if they’ll ever make it through.

When we support each other instead of competing with each other, we create something far more powerful than any one person could create alone. We are stronger together. 😊

There is power in standing together. One voice can be heard. But when people come together, those voices can become impossible to ignore. We all have different stories, different experiences and different challenges. But we don’t have to face them alone.

This is exactly what I believe in. Autism Awareness shouldn’t be about competing with each other. It should be about listening, sharing our experiences, supporting one another and helping people understand Autism better. When we work together, our voices can reach so many more people. 😊

We are coming together for what matters most: achieving change. By working together, we can strengthen the message, reach more people and make a greater impact. This is about collaboration and not competition. No self-interest. We’re stronger together. 🤝 #AutismAcceptance @bencanham.bsky.social

I’ve visited the 9/11 Memorial several times to pay my respects. Standing there, reading those names, is something I will never forget. I’m British, but America holds a very special place in my heart. 25 years on, we remember. We will never forget. #September11 #NeverForget 🇺🇸 🕊️

25 years. Today is not about politics. It is not about division. Today is about people. The lives lost on September 11, 2001. Ordinary people who left home that morning, never knowing it would be their last day. 25 years later, we remember the lives, the stories and the people behind every name.

Healing didn’t happen overnight. I’ve faced grief, loneliness, setbacks, and days when I struggled to believe in myself. But little by little, I rebuilt the hope and confidence I thought I had lost. Eight years later, I’m still here. And I’m gratefulI I stayed. ❤️

Eight years ago, I hit rock bottom. I was hospitalized for my #MentalHealth and genuinely believed I would never feel okay again. I felt lost, alone, and convinced that the pain I was feeling would never end. I couldn’t see the life I have today. But I kept going.

Today on #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, I want anyone who is struggling to know that I understand. I know what it feels like to believe the pain will never end. Eight years ago, I couldn’t see past mine. Today, I’m grateful I stayed long enough to see what came next. 😊

I’m Ben. I’m autistic. Diagnosed at 5. By 19, I’d lost both my parents. I’ve faced bullying, grief, loneliness, and moments when I didn’t think I could keep going. But I’m still here. I turned pain into purpose. Setbacks into strength.
