you were correct rodney! actually, chris came by and did sentry duty on wednesday, keeping an eye out for her while i had to be away. he did make a sighting, which helped draw her in today

after 2 nights and 1.5 days on the loose, mae came home mid-day. neighbours who spotted her sent messages and pictures, which helped narrow down the search, and allowed me to go through their yards both early and late. shes eaten and slept a lot, and been followed everywhere by nami, her daughter...

i feel utterly sick. mae slipped out into the night yesterday, because i didnt make sure a door was shut and the wind blew it open. spent the entire night looking and calling for her. shes feral or a barn cat, but has never been outside at our house. now have to go to work, returning after dusk...

It’s the 110th anniversary today of the last time Stonehenge was sold by one private owner to another. Wealthy local barrister Cecil Chubb went along to a property sale at the Palace Theatre in Salisbury on 21 September 1915 and bought the monument on impulse for £6,600
