Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Don't worry, he broke it for the higher calling of instituting Trump Youth. Following the pattern of breaking stuff, presenting himself as the savior, then providing a crappy solution with his name on it. 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Compared to Trump, doesn't any intelligence at all seem super? 011
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 19/09/2026The Religious Right claims to serve the Christian god The Christian god claims to be the god of truth RR leaders don't tell truth & their followers can't tell when they are being lied to. Both claim to be filled with the omniscient spirit of truth Either they aren't serving him or he's fake news 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Jesus indited people by their own words all the time. Their god had a habit of being most angry with the religious hypocrites. The Christian god claims to be the god of truth, but his supposed people can't discern truth & their leaders won't tell it. Either they aren't really his or he's fake news 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Correct - and if they really cared about election security and integrity as claimed, then why break down the institutions required to carry it out? 020
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 31/08/2026You know, if they keep saying, "If you don't like it, fight me." Someone is going to take them up on the offer. And since the U.S. has burned bridges with all our friends, it probably isn't going to go how they think. What an assinine regime. 070
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Yeah - Flinstones was Honeymooners light. It originally ran during primetime. By the time I grew up, it was a Saturday morning cartoon, which still makes me a pretty old dude. 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Only "championing" parent rights for parents of sis-gender heterosexual kids. Parents who don't think that's best for their kids don't have the right to appropriate healthcare in schools or otherwise for their kids among other things. It's not a right if you decide the answer for us 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Let the states choose how we do our own elections. It's fundamental to our system. You don't need to sit on the supreme court to know that. Embarrassing and a betrayal of office. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 23/08/2026They'd rather spend billions on lobbiests and elections than to pay their fair share in taxes. Why help the country with the money you spend toward its governance when you can screw it over instead? 030
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Gonna be tough to grow a tax base when you're shrinking the middle class, squeezing everyone that's not a billionaire already, while refusing to tax the billionaires and corporations that are actually doing well at the expense of everyone else. 020
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 08/08/2026Yeah - I bring concert filters to movies now because of Christopher Nolan. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 03/08/2026As heard elsewhere: Fauci derangement syndrom. Guys, Fauci wasn't even in charge. No one forced the the Trump administration to make Fauci's recommendations be our policy. If you don't like how the Trump administration handled the pandemic, your problem is with their administration, not Fauci. 030
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Doordash a stripper, a couple Viagra, and a craver case of White Castle to the White House. Nightmare over. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Brainstorming more on this. What if each state nominated a presidential candidate, and we did a series of runoff elections until a President was selected? Maybe 3 runoffs. First to 10 candidates. Then 2. The a winner. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Seems like a reform that vibes with our historic & cultural ideals of keeping power and invasions as local as can be viable. And in theory, it would break up entrenched machines in favor of more diverse ideologies from 2 x 50 party organizations. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Presidential elections would work the same. Ie. MN money could only be raised in MN to spend in MN. The only difference would be that the candidate may not live in MN, obviously. And candidates would have to organize in each state to get on ballots in the states and things like that. 100
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Hey - so what if we banned nationwide parties and pacs. Instead, parties could only be organized and financed at the state level? Ie. In MN, donations could only come from citizens that have established MN residence & businesses that HQ out of MN. 210
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Donald Trump is a fraud. All he knows how to do is waste and abuse. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 20/07/2026And they very intentionally didn't give him any real competention in primaries which ensured he would get a chance at 4 more years. This is who they wanted to be. 020
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 18/07/2026Arguably, because Israel was a theocracy & priesthood was essentially paid for with a tax, you could look at the priesthood as a giant bureaucracy that provided social services, medical care, dispute mediation, education & so on. So the conservative christian view is dictated by politics not Bible 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 18/07/2026Just want to say that even the Bible acknowledges there are certain things a profit motive isn't good at. Religion and government are supposed to push back against the profit motive & make accomodations where the profit motive doesn't incentivise the broader private & public good. 100
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 12/07/2026It tends to be a "speak well of our dead" kind of situation anyway. Trump often publically delights in the death of his enemies. It's all just the same toxic manipulation game they're always playing to try to minimize their accountability for their own crimes. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 12/07/2026They been doing the things 10 of the last 14 years & they are getting everything they want. It's simple math. If their plan was any good at all, things would be better. 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 29/06/2026Chemicals have properties. Humans are putting massive amounts of warming chemicals into the system. Global Warming deniers must necessarily deny that chemicals have properties. Of course, cognitive dissonance is in play big time, so good luck getting through. 110
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 29/06/2026Don't forget that they are working to kill the post office, so if they are questioning the reliability / integrity of the vote-by-mail sytem, you'd think they'd want to improve the fundamental components. But of course, it's not really about fraud but rather plausable-ish propaganda for their sheep 030
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Shocking that if both parties are led by mostly rich, mostly white, mostly men, then rich white men's interests are going to be over-represented. Representation should reflect the diversity of the population, not the hemogeny of the so-called majority. 0102
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 10/06/2026And all of this was totally foreseeable. I'm not really sure why some folks thought he would be any different about this. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 08/06/2026If you want the best, start by making the best of what you have. Pithy enough? 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 08/06/2026In short, if the Bible is true, you can easily argue that the pro-life movement has added to the word of god, which is expressly forbidden, and that this country is paying for it with leadership like Donald Jackass Trump. 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 08/06/2026Conservative Evangelicals generally follow a historical-grammatical interpretation method. However, they tend to deviate from this concerning the abortion issue. In the past, Evangelicals perhaps tended to be pro-life sympathizers, but they understood that it was scripturally more debatable. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 08/06/2026The Bible does not specifically adress the abortion issue. The Torah says that an adulterous pairing must be put to death - no provision for the life of the unborn. In another place, the Bible says not to punish a child for the sins of it's parents. The single issue must be exposed. 410
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 03/06/2026Can we please make it a point to say "...another impeachable offense..."? Let's not lose track of the fact that this President could (and should) be impeached on any number of things. 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 19/05/2026Says the man who has often refused to rule out using them and sits as the president of only nation that has used them.... 000
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 18/05/2026Heck yeah! That theme gets stuck in my head to this day (in a good way). 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 17/05/2026Anyone rember a similar show in the late 90s called Technoman? It had a shorter run, but that show was memorable for me. 100
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 17/05/2026Yeah - I'm a parent of kids that grew up during the Friendship is Magic era of My Little Pony and that show was fire 🔥🔥🔥 We had a harder time getting into Voltron. Even so, that could be a great movie, but it would be tough to pull off. 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 17/05/2026Even then that show was cheesy. Voltron would be tough to pull off, but if you want to make a sci-fi / fantasy cartoon from that era, Voltron would be the one. 120
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 16/05/2026As a fan of another team, I would have liked the inevitable Wemby dynasty to take a year or two longer to get rolling, but it's nice to see OKC have to deal with a team just as good as they are (and I guess we'll know pretty soon if they are better) 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Being immune from human diseases makes you an ideal person for cruises to market to right now. 110
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 12/05/2026I have a really rudimentary understanding of trauma informed thinking. I am curious what a person with more training would say about the stories from Exodus to Dueteronomy. The slavery in Egypt seems to be a pretty clear source of trauma. YHWH's responce seems like adding trauma to trauma... 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 11/05/2026All good. I appreciate your knowledge and perspective. I was being more provocative than I needed to be. Sorry about that. I'm honestly agnostic because there are alot of ways to see this things & we as humans have all kinds of biass & hueristic to sift through. Myself included. 200
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Might be seeing the Draymond trick. Wemby could see it wasn't their night, so he took his pound of flesh & gets to rest up for game 5. Kidding of course, Wemby seems like a good kid and a calm character, but apparently, he's not impervious to frustration. Half-hearted apology to DG for the strays. 010
Ben @benbjammin4ws.bsky.social · 10/05/2026Let's look at this from a different perspective. The U.S.A has been run by mostly white, mostly rich, mostly men for it's entire history. What if that's what is really wrong with this country? Happy Mother's Day everyone! 000
