I think I've got a lot of the core functionality at least mostly working now. What kinds of things would you like to be able to do in a simple cozy sandbox game? #godot #gamedev

I had to do a re-write to overcome some technical issues, but I'm now able to do proper track branching, collision avoidance, train variation, and multi-car trains! #godot #gamedev

I'm playing around with some @kenney.nl train assets in @godotengine.org. Should I make a simple train track sandbox toy/game?

For understanding which transform to use when, this diagram of Godot's 2D coordinate system was super helpful. docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/en...

I just published my first #godot asset! A multi-touch pan/rotate/zoom proof of concept I made for a future project. Wrapping my head around all the matrix transform math to convert between all the contexts took a minute, so hopefully it helps someone else. godotengine.org/asset-librar...

There are a collection of shapes on screen, the largest being a photo with two touch contact points visualized as blue circles.
