Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 14hGood for the Blue Jackets to win in OT vs the Pens To be great, you’d want better finishing to go with a phenomenal possession game, and then those kinds of games wouldn’t get close to OT 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 09/10/2026It is so blindingly obvious that the USA is done as the leading global power. Every single thing we are witnessing at the moment aligns exactly with the final stages of a declining empire 100
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Just watched an in-depth video on run defence in the NFL, just in time to see a master class in how not to defend the run from the Cowboys For example, always leaving the edge unset and allowing bottled up runs to bounce outside Getting lost in the wash so one blocker can take out two defenders 100
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I mean…Cowboys, come on You had every chance to win this game Secondary trash, can’t set an edge and receivers playing volleyball That’s not how you win football games 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 08/10/2026The shame is not hers to carry. It belongs above all to the attacker and to every single person who contributed to making our societies the cesspits they are now 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 08/10/2026What are we even doing here? The ‘is Evan Bouchard really that good’ discourse in 2026? He’s been one of the best defensemen in the world for several years now 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Capitals ate Penguins lunch in the forecheck last night This is a good ass team 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Thank god Reform has cleared itself of any wrongdoing after an internal investigation I was beginning to think that party may not actually be on the straight and narrow 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Despite losing to Utah, the Devils look like a much more balanced team than in years past. Big fan of their offseason moves. My only question is whether Luke Hughes is really the best option to direct PP1, or if maybe he is still in the role because of his brother 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 07/10/2026What makes characters like Skyler White and Hank Schradar so fantastic characters is that while they both have characteristics and aims that put them in opposition to the audience, they are both highly competent Which makes any solution or escape devised by Walt actually feel earned 000

Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 05/10/2026The volatility of defence in sports can be so frustrating. Like the current iteration of the Texans and even some of the Myles Garrett Browns teams have/had much better QBs on paper than say the 00 Ravens or the 02 Bucs, but may have missed their windows because the off/def peaks didn’t align 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Bryce Young will rightfully get the lion’s share (panther’s share?) of the plaudits but the Carolina RBs had some really good reps in pass pro early on to blunt some Detroit aggression and allow their QB to settle in and read the game 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 05/10/2026While Cousins and Bowers were able to make some impressive plays, the Chiefs defence were the stars of this game imo Throttled the Raiders run game for long stretches, Chris Jones was wrecking entire series Mansour Delane looks like an excellent draft pick 000

Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Cam Ward throwing a laserbeam only to have the guy who was supposed to finally give him a weapon in the pass game lose a fumble is a good microcosm of his career to date Really hard to evaluate 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 04/10/2026He essentially became the pop culture understanding of Mark Zuckerberg because his performance was so memorable and I feel got a lot of residual dislike because of that And he still never reached half as off-putting and evil as the real guy 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I think the practice of referring to sexual assault or domestic abuse allegations as ‘challenges’ when talking about an athlete is one of the scummiest things you can do The death of family member is a challenge, choosing to assault another person is not 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 02/10/2026The most Browns outcome of all time would be for Deshaun Watson to play just well enough to fool them into giving him an extension, before immediately getting injured/returning to bottom of the league form 001
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 01/10/2026It will probably end up being an excercise in futility, but before we reach rock bottom again, I have to say that I really like how the Leafs have transformed themselves on offence. They look a lot deeper and more flexible. Not quite as strong on the back end, but I have hope for the goalies 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I’m over 15 years late on this but holy shit, Jane’s dad from Breaking Bad is an all time feels-bad-man character 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 30/09/2026The Panthers are going to take so many penalties this year. They'll draw a lot too, but they have a combustible mix of players who I can easily envision melting down in an important game that isn't going their way Canes really missed the dynamism of Jarvis last night 000

Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Tale of two halves for the Eagles O-Line First few drives they got some of the best run blocking they have all season (Mailata was flattening dudes) and then in the second half they fell flat…again 100
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 29/09/2026They lost pretty comfortably in the end, but the Eagles D-Line can leave Chicago with heads held high Jalen Carter especially was mauling his way into the backfield. The Bears couldn’t run it and even when passing, Keemun had to make some great throws against pressure 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 29/09/2026In fairness to the Eagles, I don't think anyone expected Case Keenum to transcend into the second coming of Tom Brady last night Philly secondary is on notice though, da Bears got basically whatever they wanted through the air 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I am a big KOC fan, but the Nine saga is the stain on an otherwise stellar record. Only time will tell how much damage a swing and a miss that big will do, but we may look back and pinpoint it as the moment that the Vikings lost their window 000
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Based on the first few drives, I really thought the Cowboys’ defensive line was about to humiliate the Ravens But credit to Declan Doyle and Lamar Jackson, they adjusted and found ways to win 000

Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Watching the Giants a bit more closely this morning I noticed one of the LBs made some pretty bad decisions over their choice of run lanes to attack that led to the Rams getting a couple of explosive runs 100
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Didn’t get to watch him in his Packers pomp, but that game last night from Davante Adams was probably the best game I’ve ever seen him play Without the team’s other major threat at receiver, knowing he’s going to be doubled and bracketed all might, delivered some spectacular grabs 100
Ben Coneybeare @ben-coneybeare.bsky.social · 22/09/2026The Giants undoubtedly look stronger in the trenches than they have in recent years, but compared to a team like the Rams they are just at a talent deficit, particularly at the skill positions Secondary is also injured as 000
