Good lord, this Washington defense is a complete dumpster fire. Embarrassing. Sadly some Iowa fans will conclude success tonight proves Brown should be QB2. No, he would have carved these guys up.

Both lines are questionable. Brown would be shredding this defense as well. And Iowa would likely have two more TDs on the board, as going deep on 3rd & 3 is sorta dumb. Brown doesn’t do that.

To be fair, prime Jordan wrecks everybody, so… Wilson is the closest to Jordan the W has seen in my opinion. She is completely dominate on both sides of the court and can easily turn any game.

Hate Friday games while high school games are still going on. I would be attending the local high school’s homecoming game tonight, but no- be watching the Hawks instead. No reason this shouldn’t be played on Saturday except TV money and time slots.

Yeah, Hank is still the clear #1. Iowa’s RT is struggling big time. Have faith they will get it cleaned up, but yikes. LG & C are works in progress but overall doing okay. They’ll continue to improve as the season marches on. Toughest games are behind us. West coast road trips are tricky.

My sister & I (12 & 10 yrs old) thought we’d learn something from “the great businessman” everybody kept talking about when he appeared on a daytime talk show in the 80s. We spotted him for the con man he was immediately. Couldn’t believe adults fell for his circular talk, saying nothing at all.

I do see a lot trolls still inflame tensions online and people just assume they’re actual Fever/Clark fans. I used to point out that they’re not with screen grabs, showing they actually hate Clark too, but it never solved anything. Drop in a bucket. Pointless. It’s just frustrating.

Completely agree. As an Iowa fan I’ve seen other Iowa fans behave horribly and have stepped in to stop their terrible behavior. I’ve also seen many times that number of fans behave wonderfully towards opposing fans and create a good natured time at an event. Bad fans suck, period. No excuses.

Remember that one. It’s ridiculous. Again, it’s people assuming a thing they believe to be true and acting on it. Twitter/X is just the worst. Literally designed to make your life worse, thanks to Elon Musk. What a jerk.

I do that, and get shouted down and called racist for being an Iowa & Fever fan more times than not. Because people assume. Most fans are good people who love their team. Online trolls are not real life fans, and confusing the two is a huge part of the problem. Thank you for listening.

And to be clear, the Fever GM is full of it. She used a very selective way of looking at the problems reported than the rest of us in order to protect her organization, which of course is her job. A better GM would have a better message for their fan base. Mitchell is amazing. Always has been.

The racist jerk that Gray reported had zero to do with the Fever/Clark but she released that message after her game against them. Did she think he was a Fever fan? We’ll never know. But that was the narrative until the facts came out. Because people assumed. Think that’s what the OP is tired of.

The Fever are a laughably poorly run organization which has proven itself over and over again not to be ready for the spotlight or (more importantly) no ability for building for the future. Their contract management is absurd and has guaranteed that their big three will have to be broken up.

Quick note- the only WNBA player that Gray’s racist DM leaver followed was Paige. People are very quick to paint other groups of people with a wide brush when it fits their preferred narrative, and just as quick to ignore or wave away issues within their own groups. Bad fans are bad fans.

So #14 Iowa loses to #5 Ohio State and drops to #20. Okay. Seems a little steep of a drop, but okay. #16 Mississippi State gets absolutely destroyed by ‘bama, and goes down one spot? Seriously? SEC bias is so bullshit.

The Fever organization is ridiculous for many reasons. Pretending this isn’t an issue is just one of them. Not understanding how to manage contracts is another, which basically guarantees Mitchell will not be back next year, sadly. Her best years have been with Boston & Clark-fun to watch.

Can tell you from personal experience that many times when I’ve said something on social media denouncing bad fan behavior (or possible online troll activity) and saying it’s not “all Fever/Clark fans”, it does NOT end well. Just becomes its own fountain of hatred, which is sadly counterproductive.

Now that my team’s out, I can just sit back and enjoy the games as a W fan. All the teams have great players and stories that make you want to root for them. Good luck to them all!

For Iowa to beat Ohio State, they has to play nearly perfect every time. Their margin of error to produce an upset is razor thin. Most football people get this, I think. Still, it’s disappointing that they couldn’t get it done today. Oh well. Still love our Hawkeyes.
