They also give you TWO THOUSAND characters. Use that what you will.

Welp. I’ve been “restructured” as well. I’ve had this job for just over 21 years, counting that we got acquired about 4 years ago.

When your company tells you "AI is not here to replace you" they are absolutely lying through their teeth. Two of my devs got laid off today. Half of the devs on that team.

I’m on the shitty guest WiFi at my sons swim and I thought it was just issues with that, but apparently all y’all are missing goals and glitching #canes

@emanningwrites.bsky.social wrote an excellent article about it at stormtracker. "NHL partnered with hockey romance writers to create short audio clips which spin hockey (and use actual players’ names) as romantic content"

I remember the Chevy “Like a Rock” ads so I thought it was something like that. But also they’re too young to know those Chevy ads 😱😭

Darby Acres Farm in Charlotte. Did the kit-n-caboodle safari tour that included encounters with pretty much all their animals, and was well worth it.

My work has had a benefit to use a 3rd party "Health Advocate" service that will help with a variety of healthcare and insurance issues. Just used it for the first time and honestly super helpful. That almost $500 bill from Novant for X-rays? yeah.... supposed to be fully covered.

HT has a reputation around here for being pricey, but I have always found Publix the most expensive, and not even close. And no! I don't want you to walk my groceries to the car. FOH. CLT is getting their first Wegmans, but it's in the Ballantyne area, which might as well be in Raleigh for me.

James @beloitdavisja.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I honestly don’t get the Publix love. There are plenty near me in the CLT area. Usually my last choice.

That was the most infuriating part - that the number of perpetrators are so vast and distributed, bringing them to justice in an insurmountable task, which serves only to embolden them more.

That and the Waller OPI in the 1st have been head scratching.
