The various proposed release dates for Rubine('s demo, don't forget it) was always more of a self imposed
challenge than anything I sincerely intended to stick to-
But with the limits of my body breaking and unemployment looming over my head I suppose
I have finally played my hand for the last time. I had to cut a bunch of content that wasn't ready to ship yet,
and even then by typical game release standards you'll probably find the Jank levels somewhat dubious-
With that said with the sort of outreach I have, I figure just posting it here my audience will probably understand the shortcomings.

A lot of the given content was moreso experimentation on my part that
I feel doesn't quite represent me operating to the best of my abilities,
but as the old saying goes, just make it exist, you can make it not suck later.
So think of THE FIRST FIGHT more akin to the first chapter of a manga or an indie cartoon animatic than Real Gamer Hours, as I will spend the rest of my time providing new scenarios that will hopefully live up to your lofty expectations

THE FIRST FIGHT is the first (real) release of a series of games
I've been irresponsibly working on simultaneously, which dives deep into a world of
fantasy and strife and low poly graphics, which has lived almost exclusively
in my imagination for well over a decade.
It may be a rough journey to the top, but it's one I hope you'll take with me.

Five years ago, I started a project that was everything you aren't supposed to do. A big, hours-long single player action game with cutscenes and side quests galore. After release last year, I've more than doubled the size of the game, and I'm not done yet. #gamedev
