Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 09/10/2026So watching welcome to Waikiki and it is pretty funny so far but the audience are just supposed to be ok with the woman who leaves her child at a guesthouse with three random guys. The same woman also gives the rest of the cast food poisoning. 000
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 30/09/2026So watching physical 100 Italy and it is kinda amazing how much better the Korean version is. Like I thought that the format was flexible enough that it would be interesting to see what other countries would do with it. But yeah everything is just worse maybe physical 100 Mexico is better 000
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Will Ju Ji Hoon take Lee Min Ho’s crown of hottest Korean on a horse? Only time will tell. 112
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I was low key thinking they were going to do this. As much as I generally hate AI. I am curious about this. It’s weird to describe but the actress has a very alien like quality in this drama and it will be interesting to see it paired with AI.news.mydramalist.com'Love O2O' relaunched on YOUKU with AI face-swapped female leadNews: The 2016 Chinese drama 'Love O2O' has been re-released as 'A Smile Is All It Takes', with Wang Zhu Yue replacing Zheng Shuang through AI face-swapping technology. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 27/09/2026So started watching dive into you not sure yet but it looks like Park Seo Ham may have a second good show. Obvs only two eps in but it’s looking good. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 26/09/2026So still wanted to watch more Hyun Bin after made in Korea so I’ve decided to go all the way back to Ireland. His first starring role. Got to admit the premise for this one seems bonkers but there are some actors I like her and visually it’s quite interesting let’s see if this is worth watching. 000
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 15/09/2026So one thing I find interesting about love in the cloud is how bland the main love story is. It’s supposed to be forced proximity crossed with enemies to lovers but these two don’t seem all that opposed so it’s just a bit dull. Is this just me? 020
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 10/09/2026So one of the ways I avoid drama slumps is to always try and watch something completely from the thing I’ve just finished watching so after my bias my boss, time for made in Korea. Half way through series 1. Definite Scorsese vibes. 000
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 01/09/2026So started 4 hands 2 sonatas looks like it should be a fun rivalry show based around pretty people playing pianos. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 29/08/2026So I was browsing my Samsung tv guide and I noticed that there were whole channels dedicated to kdramas. Does anyone here watch kdramas on channels? I just go on the subscription service and watch what I want when I want. Curious if anyone uses these channels. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 25/08/2026Sometimes I watch current kdramas and I’m like these are way too short and then I watch dramas like if you wish upon me and maybe shorter kdramas aren’t automatically bad. 030
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Not sure I’ve ever seen an agency go this hard to defend someone before. 000
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Watching if you wish upon me and I’ve never seen a show go of the rails this hard. I was expecting a show like tomorrow or move to heaven and is starts of that way but it really has descended into melodrama in the last few episodes. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 18/08/2026Really liking my bias my boss there’s something to be said for show that likes playing with the tropes and not subverting them just for the sake of subverting them. I’m hoping this one turns out to be a classic Rom com. 020
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Over 20 years has passed since Princess hours and Ju Ji Hoon has clearly internalised the backlash against him as he keeps bringing it up. Was anyone around at the time? Was it really this bad? I just feel so bad for him just imagine still holding onto this after so long. 030
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 07/08/2026So I do really like the apartment job. I think it’s really fun but is anyone else getting a little sick of the fat jokes. It’s so annoying and is just spoiling what is in all other aspects a pretty fun show. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 28/07/2026I have a question for cdrama fans. Is 2nd male lead syndrome a thing in cdramas? I’ve watched a few cdramas and there’s never a love triangle for the main couple unless it’s a bitchy fl that won’t let the ml go. I also don’t see anyone argue that the fl should get with anyone that’s not the mlm. 100
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 22/07/2026So one thing to know about me is that I really will watch something out of spite. So looking around for something to watch I see love in sync and it’s region locked. No no no region locks don’t apply to me I will vpn wherever I need to. So yeah two episodes in watching it on viu in Australia. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Is it just me or is a Joseon royal family member one of the worst royal families to be a part of? I watch other shows with royalty and yeah they portray being royal as being hard but the palace in the Joseon show is often portrayed as a prison. It has to be the worst. 120
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 18/07/2026What’s with the really prominent eyes and teeth on the king’s outfit? I thought it was a goof at first. Have they always been there? I’ve watched a lot of Joseon dramas and have never noticed the dragon eyes looking so prominent. 000
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 17/07/2026So first impression of east palace. I don’t know if the writers pitched this or were given the assignment Joseon stranger things but that’s basically what happened here. But so far it’s pretty fun. 020
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 14/07/2026So time to watch a cdrama. This time we’re going to go for a more modern drama and it’s love in the clouds. Good so far. We’ll see how it goes. I wonder if the title will ever make sense. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 14/07/2026This looks pretty good it looks like Nam Joo-Hyuk hasn’t been miscast which Korea tends to do. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 14/07/2026So has anyone here ever watched if you wish upon me? My mum wanted to watch it because of Ji Chang Wook. 520
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 01/07/2026So caught up with Doctor on the edge. I don’t think it’s a show for everyone and I don’t think it’s going to be one of my faves but it is chill which I need right now. 030
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 26/06/2026So watching rooftop prince and I feel like I’m far more invested in the 2nd couple that are just such a hot villainous toxic mess and I’m just so in. They’re both so bad and I love them. 110
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 24/06/2026So watching absolute value of romance and I really like the female lead. I think she really captures the unique cringe of being a teenage girl. But I really don’t like the male lead he’s just so mean and is abusing his power over her. 120
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 19/06/2026Sorry I need to talk about this again but what the hell is when the weather is fine doing on here. Kim Young Dae is in one episode maybe two in no way can he be considered a second lead. 031
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 19/06/2026So one of the ways I feel like I’m out of step with kdrama fans is I really don’t get the love for the 2ml in she was pretty I just thought he was so annoying. I get not liking PSJ but that doesn’t automatically make 2ml better. For me I ship the female leads together 330
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 17/06/2026There are many things I hate about living in society today but when I want to look up how much something is in a different currency. Instead of going through a list of currencies there’s a ton of crypto bs like pudgy penguins. Google I will never want to know how much a pudgy penguin is worth 000
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 16/06/2026Everytime I watch something on prime. I’m always a little taken aback by all the late stage capitalism. Every advert leads to an Amazon link at any time I can click up and start shopping and if I press pause I get another advert linking to an Amazon link. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 12/06/2026Started watching absolute value of romance looks like a fun look at teenage sexuality. I do love how I watched Kim Hyang-Gi as a high school student in 2017 in revenge note and now nearly 10 years later she’s somehow still a high school student. 020
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Watching rooftop prince and my royal nemesis at the same time and it’s interesting because they definitely share some dna. I do think it is hurting my opinion of rooftop prince because I feel like the chemistry between Heo Nam Jun and Lim Ji Yeon is top tier and I don’t feel it as much with RP. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 04/06/2026So this is a safe space right but I think I’m developing a bit of a crush on Lee Tae Sung who plays Tae-Mu on rooftop prince. I mean yeah I know he’s the villian and he killed a person but he looks so good in a suit. I can fix him. 130
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 30/05/2026One thing that I think is worth pointing out about my royal nemesis is just how much the script loves and references other kdramas. I don’t think I’ve seen other kdrama be this reverential since be melodramatic. 080
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 29/05/2026So my royal nemesis is really good but how in the hell did they get the rights to when you wish upon a star? It’s weird seeing something so unapologetically Disney on Netflix. Like wow. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 28/05/2026Watching rooftop prince and it is such old school farce. I love the 2nd male lead and he’s just so hilariously shifty. No one has looked as guilty as this guy the only other thing I’ve seen in is playful kiss where he was just so hilariously dumb that I had a minor case of 2nd lead syndrome.static.klipy.comAwkward Puppet Side EyeALT: Awkward Puppet Side Eye 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 26/05/2026So I really like my royal nemesis and the writer clearly loves kdramas and playing with kdrama tropes but some things are a bit sloppy like the below. It’s really annoying because sometimes the script can be really good. 000
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 15/05/2026Ok as a British person I did want to talk about perfect crown as someone who grew up in a constitutional monarchy. I’ve always seen Ian and Hui-Ju as being most similar to Harry and Meghan who I’m surprised the show hasn’t name dropped. The relationship between the British Media and royalty is 100
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 14/05/2026So started watching we are all trying here. So far it’s pretty fun. I think the ml is quite good but I think when a character is annoying it can become annoying to watch as an audience member so I’m curious to see how his performance is going to progress over the 12 episodes. 020
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 13/05/2026#dramasupportchallenge I’m going to go for Lim Whi from when the weather is fine. Never has the life of a cringe teenage girl been so accurately portrayed. I found her hilarious throughout this show and even though her role was small she shone throughout. 240
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 30/04/2026Saw this on YouTube. Sorry to my American followers and the cool Americans that are on this app but not in a million years. UK’s not perfect but it could be worse and that’s probably as patriotic I’m going to get about my own country. 120
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 25/04/2026At the halfway point of perfect crown and I think I was hoping for a bit more court machinations. Don’t get me wrong I love the queen mother’s vibes but I need her to start doing something. I’m hoping that in the second half the bad guys will be a bit more active. IU/BWS are really good though. 030
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 15/04/2026So I’m going from watching art of Sarah to hospital playlist. I suspect it will feel like following up a whiskey with an ice cream. 010
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 11/04/2026I do wonder if they’re ever going to reference North Korea in perfect crown. I mean in king two hearts it’s still there but the relationship between north and South Korea is a pretty big component of the show. 100
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 11/04/2026So I feel like I’ve come full circle with Byeon Woo Seok with perfect crown. As I first saw him in moonshine and I was just blown away. I just thought he was such a cool sexy prince and now he’s back playing a cool sexy prince. 040
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 03/04/2026(Me at work) Me: So I hear if this fuel crisis doesn’t get resolved we may all be working from home soon. Guy: I’ll die before I’ll get into an electric car. Is this a guy thing like I don’t get why are these men so attached to the black gunk in their cars? 000
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 02/04/2026So I’m watching boss and me. For the most part I’m enjoying it. However there’s a subplot where female lead’s cousin is going out with a guy and he’s cheating on her but both sets of parents still want them to get married. But the cousin and the music gives me abused sex trafficking victim. 100
Be Kdramatic @bekdramatic.bsky.social · 01/04/2026So really liking boyfriend on demand. I do think you could write a whole comedy/ dark comedy/ just plain dark show just about the person who works for the customer service hotline for boyfriend on demand. The amount of stuff that person would have to deal with. 030
