Day 6: BeeBee is still with us! They had an awesome field trip this morning. @lamantia.bsky.social and I took them to some clover patches and neighborhood bushes to feed on fresh flowers — look at that happy face! 🐝

Our bee friend can't be released, as they can't fly and their hind legs don't work well. Thus, they can't forage on their own. They need assistance to drink water, eat, and burrow. So, our place is just their cozy refuge at the end of the rainbow bridge, for as long as they have left. 💕🌈

Day 4 with our sweet little rescue bee, and we finally found a flower they're super enthusiastic about! 🐝🥰 Got all pollen-y and fed. BeeBee has mostly been eating sugar water and plain water, so this is lovely to see.

If a tea business expresses that they're concerned about their survival, or the survival of their partners & colleagues — and that's your "breaking point" for shopping with them — then you've missed the whole purpose of tea. Tea has always been political. Solidarity with @white2tea.bsky.social ❤️

What teas support you? What does that look like on a physical, emotional, spiritual level? This is our exploration for this evening's monthly advanced practice group session in the Being Tea community. 🧵
Close up of Being Tea's late afternoon tea table, with gold and red autumn leaves and votive candles scattered across the surface. Several teas are being prepared, including a dark green leafy oolong unfurling in an open gaiwan, and an amber-colored brew of black tea in a clear glass serving pitcher.

oh goodness! some new followers! 🤗 indeed, i am also taking refuge from that other app here. so if you like tea and need softness breaks between the long hours of daily resistance and vigilance, i'm happy to be here with you. 🍵
Image is the tea table of Being Tea's online studio. Warm autumn sunlight from the eastern window illuminates the bamboo tabletop. Candles, autumn leaves, river stonea, and acorns decorate the space. There is a close-up of Sooz, wearing a dark grey sweater, slowly pouring water from a black gooseneck kettle into a gaiwan filled with fluffy green tea leaves. Steam billows above the tea bowl in the autumn light. Sooz's plush animal, a buffalo named Luff, is sitting observantly watching the tea brew.
