MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

OK. Superman meets 3,000 year old, dark reflection of himself. His only ally? A man with a hammer. I love it. Thank you, @jason-aaron.bsky.social, @rafasandoval.bsky.social , & #UlisesArreola. #Godsmack

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

OK. This is quite possibly the best absolute version of a hero to date. @pornsak.bsky.social, @rafaelalbuquerque.bsky.social, & #MarceloMaiolo have given me a Green Arrow I didn't know I wanted until. Who is this guy? #KillswitchEngage

030

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

OK. He's back!! In all his dark glory. #FrankMiller, #KlausJanson, & #LynnVarley places Bruce back in the zeitgeist of Gotham. Something the powers-at-be will use every tool at their disposal to end his rise. #MassiveAttack

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

OK. @cjward.bsky.social, @robertcarey.bsky.social, & #XenonHonchar has pulled me back into the world of Event Horizon, way... Way... WAY... in the future. Which is why the return of a particular character from the Lewis&Clark kinda broke my brain. #MarilynManson

031

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 29/04/2026

OK. The penultimate issue of this hypocriful arc from #MikeBarr, @toddmcfarlane.bsky.social, & #AlfredoAlcala, giving me a Batman using a tool he'd never use, #Korn

010

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 29/04/2026

OK. We see Trioka in action and more as @kellythompson.bsky.social, @cleanlined.bsky.social , & #JordieBellaire reveal the Diana's greatest asset may be a lifelong prison. #Metallica

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 27/04/2026

OK. @ssnyder1835.bsky.social, @nickdragotta.bsky.social, & #FrankMartin continue adding nightmare fuel to Batman's rogues, the latest of which causes a loss I did not see coming. #MarilynManson

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 18/04/2026

OK. @jefflemire171.bsky.social, #AdrianoLucas, and guest artist @hainingart.bsky.social give us the fallout of the War of the Flashes, as a new friendship blossoms and leads to a new threat. #Korn

051

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 18/04/2026

OK. The War of the Flashes comes to a tragic end. @jefflemire171.bsky.social, @artofnickrobles.bsky.social, & #AdrianoLucas place Wally & Thawne on a collision course that will take everything from the winner. #Korn

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 18/04/2026

OK. It's theWaroftheFlashes. @jason-aaron.bsky.social, @nickrobles.bsky.social, & #AdrianoLucas finally explain what this is... Kinda. The origin point of the power that created everything in this universe. The power that is, and Wally's done running for it. #Adema

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 15/04/2026

OK. Rogues' Revenge continues as @jefflemire171.bsky.social, @nickrobles.bsky.social, & #AdrianoLucas have the Rogues face one of their own, while Wally comes face-to-face with the revelation of why all of this is happening. #Queen

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 15/04/2026

Rogues' Revenge begins as @jefflemire.bsky.social, @artofnickrobles.bsky.social, & #AdrianoLucas put wally & the rogues on the same path to save Wally's dad. And a traitor from within lurks, as the truth begins to be revealed. #VelvetRevolver

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 15/04/2026

OK. As the secret weapons continue to be revealed as @jason-aaron.bsky.social, @rafasandoval.bsky.social, & #UlisesArreola give us absolute versions of not one, but two characters. Only one really matters to me, and it isn't the one who's three thousand year old. #VelvetRevolver

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

OK. I begin DC's Next Level, as @gregrucka.com, #DaNi, & @matthollingsworth.com return us to the prophetic world of the Crime Bible and the "Twice-Named Daughter of Cain", as we catch up with Batwoman and her last encounter with Alice.

010

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

OK. @stephsmash.bsky.social, @leegarbett.bsky.social, & #FrankMartin give Matt a new status quo, as he braves the college campus as an adjunct professor while a new threat comes for him. Too fast and too quiet for his alter-ego.. #Fuel

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

OK. Diana's on the ropes. @kellythompson.bsky.social, @cleanlined.bsky.social, & #JordieBellaire give us Diana nearly defeated, forcing her to show us why that she's undefeatable.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

OK!! OK. So the epic battle between Batman & Ivy notwithstanding, @ssnyder1835.bsky.social, guest artist (@ericcanete.bsky.social), and #FrankMartin is breadcrumbing us with several plot points that can only make this book more awesome. Loving this title.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

And here we are, the final veniette, as the most unlikely characters wind up on a date, thanks to @gailsimone.bsky.social, #BelenOrtega, & #JordieBellaire.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

OK. While the final confrontation with Parasite was ok, @jason-aaron.bsky.social & @juanferreyra.bsky.social have really piqued my interest with what Brainiac is actually thinks it's doing. Since there's no way what it did will make "this" Lex Luthor hate Superman. Or, is that even its goal at all.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

OK. The penultimate veniette, as @gregrucka.com, @nicolascottart.bsky.social, & #MarceloMaiolp show us the debate of the century where J. Jonah Jameson justifies is obvious bias against Spider-Man.

010

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

OK. Continuing the Superman/Spider-Man issue. @jefflemire171.bsky.social, #Rafasandoval_1975, & #UlisesArreola give us the off-chance meeting of two of our heroes primary source of inspiration. @foofighters

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

OK. The next veniette, #SeanMurphy & @simongough2099.bsky.social give us the meet up we never saw coming but for the chaotic nature of dimensional time traveling. #Tool

010

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

OK. Veniette #3 by #ChristopherPriest, @sampereart.bsky.social, & #AlejandroSanchez brings Spidey face-to-face with the reality punching Superboy-Prime as seeks escape form a dimensional trap. Fun times. #RedHotChilliPeppers

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

OK. The next veniette in this DC/Marvel Special has @tomking.bsky.social, @jimlee.bsky.social, & #ScottWilliam showing us their lady love's pov as Supes & Spidey face a Sentinel, though neither of them are murants. Who is it after?

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

OK. This issue. This issue is origin of one of the coldest moments Batman has had. #FrankMiller, #KlausJansen, & #LynnVarley show what an older, colder, and unrelenting S.O.B. Batman could become. #ZackHemsey

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

Hypocrisy is on full display as #MikeBarr and newcomer @toddmcfarlane.bsky.social depict Batman using a gun, something that sickened me the first time I saw it as a kid. Predictably, it still does. Also as much as I dig MacFarlane, I wish they didn't change artist.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

As interesting this bout is about to be, presumably, I'm a bit more interested what @jason-aaron.bsky.social & @juanferreyra.bsky.social have planned for Absolute Lex, as he encounters Absolute Brainiac. #Korn

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

OK. @jasonaaronwood.bsky.social & @juanferreyra.bsky.social start us on a new arc that begins with Kal unable silence the agony of the world, while his own loss takes hold. #EarthWindFire

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

Here it is. The book that irreconcilably changed a character. #FrankMiller, #KlausJanson, & #LynnVarley begin the tale of an aged Bruce Wayne being pulled back into the mission he quit years ago. @smashingpumpkins.bsky.social

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 04/03/2026

So it ends. @jason-aaron.bsky.social , #RafaSandoval, & #UlisesArreola have Kal face-off with Ra'a Al Ghul for the fate of Smallville.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

This book just can't stop being awesome, as @kellythompson.bsky.social, @cleanlined.bsky.social, & #JordieBellaire give us Veronica Cale's Suicide Squad led by Absolute Zatanna... or is it? #Tool

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

We see it. @cjward.bsky.social, @tristansbones.bsky.social, & @pipmartin.bsky.social show us how the captain mustered enough will to warn anyone not to come there. #Staind

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

Been awhile bit, but... @cjward.bsky.social, @tristansbones.bsky.social, & @pipmartin.bsky.social has our crew helpless in this "chaos realm". Truly a nightmare in the flesh.

011

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

This amazing series continues as @kellythompson.bsky.social, @cleanlined.bsky.social, & #JordieBellaire have a childhood dream herald the coming of Veronica Cale's campaign to ruin Wonder Woman, through a certain reverse- speaking young lady.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

Trying to come to terms with all the losses he's endured to defeat Bane, @ssnyder1835.bsky.social, #FrankMartin, and newcomer @ericcanete.bsky.social drop Batman into a nightmare of foliage...Absolute-Style!

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

What would you do for friendship? What lengths would you go to to help one you truly care for? @ssnyder1835.bsky.social, @nickdragotta.bsky.social, & #FrankMartin answer that question through another encounter with Absolute Wonder Woman.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

It's finally happened, as @kellythompson.bsky.social, @cleanlined.bsky.social, & #JordieBellaire, give us the first meeting of the Absolute Universe. A meeting that could mean the end of both of them.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

Outstanding! @kellythompson.bsky.social, and the awesome @mattiadeiulis.bsky.social, return with an incredible tale of empathy, and put on display the fallacy of the truth of myths.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

Interesting origin for Arkham here. @ssnyder1835.bsky.social, @franktieri.bsky.social, @joshixson.bsky.social, & @romanstevens.bsky.social ramp up the tragedy of this poor altruistic man, possibly connecting him to the Horror show that is the Joker.

021

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 23/02/2026

Mr Bast is back with a flashback arc of one of the most anger inducing arcs I've ever experienced as #MikeBarr, #AlanDavis, and #PaulNeary introduces the previous dark protector of Gotham, and a contradiction that really angered me.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 02/01/2026

OK, This is definitely not the BF & Dynomutt I remember. @jimmypalmiotti.bsky.social, #PasqualeQualano, & #JorgeSutil has given us the a skewed characterization of this world. More violent. More drama and all that comes with that. Despite that, still pretty cool.

010

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 25/12/2025

OK. @jimmypalmiotti.bsky.social, #PasqualeQualano, & #JorgeSutil give us Blue Falcon at his weakest, after rescuing innocents from an explosion. His only hope, the debut of his cybernetic best friend. #LimpBizkit

010

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 24/12/2025

OK. The battle of Kansas continues, as @jason-aaron.bsky.social, @rafasandoval.bsky.social, & #UlisesArreola have Lazarus reign hell upon Smallville in pursuit of the Superman, resulting in a loss Kal may not be able to bare. @aperfectcircleband.bsky.social

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 23/12/2025

OK. This series continues to redefine yet enrich all that is Diana of the Wild Isle/Hell/Themyscaria as @kellythompson.bsky.social & @matiasbergara.bsky.social reveals to the world itself the reality of all in this "absolute" universe. #NineInchNiles

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

OK. I am in awe of the "absolute" nightmare fuel @ssnyder1835.bsky.social has given us, rendered by the king of visualized horror, @jockbsky.bsky.social & #FrankMartin. Had to watch some happiness on steroids to counter the sheer terror depicted. #KORN

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

OK. I heard how peeps were butt hurt about this issue. But @danielwarrenart.bsky.social & #NickSpicer gave us all the cathartic pleasure of putting a serious hurtin' on those who really required it. And #JamesHarren & #DaveStewart #Tool

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

I'm back. OK. This ending kinda saw coming #SheldonAllen, #MauricioCampetella, & #DanieleCaramanico 's. final issue. All skin folk definitely aren't kin folk, which they found out the hard way. I kinda want this to continue. At least, SO they can gace off against the nationlists.

000

MrBast @being-mrbast.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

OK. @ssnyder1835.bsky.social, @nickdragotta.bsky.social, and #FrankMartin gave us the final knock down, drag out, brutally violent, & Venom-Induced confrontation between Batman & Bane. Who will win? #Chevelle

000
