Reports of my death weren't exaggerated at all. I was dead for a while, my bad. #ffxivnsfw #gposernsfw

Bella's made a life of covering it up. Wasn't time for grief, or pain on the battlefield, and she spent most of her time off of it alone. So she swallows it. People that know her well understand there's a lot she isn't saying, at least. By and large though people sees her as the 'big, silly lizard.

It is... expected. In her mind she's lived far too long, as is. Survived things she certainly shouldn't have. Really, she's tired.

This came up ~6mo ago, and after some thought I said Bella's deadly sin was Sloth. Thinking on it, that hasn't changed. Indifferent to her own suffering, and pain... persisting on the path that will inevitably kill her, simply because it's ... convenient? Easy? What is that, if not Sloth?

Her eyes are probably the most prominent, due to their glow and what they hint about her heritage. After that ? Probably the scars.

An au ra woman with dark skin and long bangs, head tilted slightly to the side, lips turned up in a smirk, displaying both her silver/black slitted eyes, and facial markings.

She had no name for a long time. 'Belladonna' was the name she took, and it was given by a now-departed friend. 'Styrnlona' means 'star gatherer' in Roegadyn, and was a nickname that just... stuck from her early years as a Maelstrom whelp, due to her obsession with star-gazing during her watch.

Bella's mother is dead, and her adoptive 'mother' is constantly testing her resolve by trying to kill her... They're besties, really.

"Infinite baths Washing over me at last Are you the method in my madness? Are you the glory in my wrath?" #ffxivgpose #ffxivnsfw

Having finally reached 'peace', Bella leans against the spear that carried her there. Now, alone, she's left to wonder if all that had carried her here, was worth it.

Behind her, the sky begins to distort, and give way to the echoes of madness, and suffering that had harried her during the ascent. The spear, revealed to be Halone's, clung to in the hopes an answer might be found before the rest of her is lost.

Scents play a notable role in how Bella interacts with the world, and her favorite scents tend to be people. Her absolute favorite though, is the blend of fermented tea leaves, vanilla, and the faaaaintest hint of woodsmoke, her partner has.

(Not) Local woman too angry to die, despite repeated attempts. More at 11.

Belladonna Styrnlona @beezmaries.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

Bella runs a niche hobby channel about metallurgy, and smithing. She has a tendency to ramble, and tell stories about her past; which unintentionally makes her a 'sleepytime' channel. So she has a small if dedicated following of people who tune in when they wanna doze/zone out. She doesn't mind.

Belladonna Styrnlona @beezmaries.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

While Bella's encountered many, her most notable encounter was completely on accident, and they'd go on to become close/intimate friends.

020

Belladonna Styrnlona @beezmaries.bsky.social · 21/04/2025

Bella flatly refused a regulator when it was offered. For a few reasons. One of which being that she saw it as an insult to the life she'd fought for and in her mind earned, with her own blood, sweat, and suffering.

Bella tends to wear chestwrap when not armored, for comfort/temperature regulation. So her abs are sort of just, defacto, the part of the body she shows off the most.

Can't say Bella fits neatly in any of the squares, but she skews closest to True Neutral on any given day, with her worst skewing towards Neutral Evil.

020

Belladonna Styrnlona @beezmaries.bsky.social · 25/03/2025

Bella can live without it. While her look assists the writing/lore, it doesn't depend on it. That said, if it suddenly poof'd, I'd miss it terribly.

010

Belladonna Styrnlona @beezmaries.bsky.social · 21/03/2025

Vanilla, Bella uses Lonely Explorer, or Dreadspawn. The former due to her nomadic habits and aversion to staying in one place long. The latter due to her bloodline/aether being corrupted. Not vanilla? She's the Eepiest Blacksmith™ she's just so eepy.

Belladonna Styrnlona @beezmaries.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

She maintains it out of habit, nowadays, but Bella's definitely muscular. #WoLQotD

Bella's a Blacksmith by profession, nowadays! Originally picked up a taste for it after she was saved as a child, and raised by the Qerel... Their customs and rite of passage kick-starting a hobby that blossomed into her career, after her exit from the Maelstrom some years later.

Entirely depends on the situation. A spar? Bella will play it casual. Quip, and 'play', give tips, she'll refuse to use her axe. In solo combat (life or death, etc), she's going to end it as efficiently and as violently as possible. With allies, she'll do everything she can to protect them.
