We had our 2000th keg kick on Mon Aug 17. I happened to be working but didn't know it at the time. My keg sheet is 56 items behind, dating back to mid July. We've kicked 2018 items to date. Four kegs kicked that shift. We're going have to dip into the Untappd menu history to see which was #2000

Glunz' online order portal alphabetically sorts its brands, but capital letters are sorted before lowercase. MIDDLE BROW is sorted before Maplewood.

I'd love a chance to see what's changed since 2014. Bambalynė closed. Alaus Namai is a cool spot. There was a micro pub we ended a tour at, I think it was Baras Šuo The Frank Zappa monument was hard to find but a fun side trip. Wherever you go, get the fried rye bread with beer.

By my estimation, Hopewell Pocha is the first Chicagoland lager marketed as a Korean style (or Japanese lager) that doesn't use rice. All malt!

I marketed Revolution Straight Jacket as the first time barleywine was served on Lukr side pull. in the Midwest anyway. Jim was very pleased to have Pragueress on side pull, and thanked us for taking care of his beer so well. That meant a lot. It's on draft currently!

This is my only chance to feature Alarmist beer on Lukr. Their distributor really only ever had this beer for draft, and this sixtel is dated to October. Alarmist has had Lukr side pulls since 2019-10-12, easily in the first 10 across Chicagoland.

Nada Hall opened around 1947-1948 serving hot sake but added a second section in 1949 serving draft beer, Nada Columbia. Whole space was rebranded Nada Columbia around 1963, closed March 27 1998. Matsuo joined about 1981 and opened Bier Reise '98 on May 11 1998.

České Švýcarsko is apparently a national park I found by just searching Czech Switzerland. And a call back to one of our first Lukr features, Roaring Table Pilsner (which became Concordance) and Phase Three P3 American Pils. July 18 2021. A early and rough hladinka here in the British mug here.

Goose Island's Salt Shed Pub added a side pull faucet around Feb 12, 2025 (Feb 7?). Appears to be the Pilsner Urquell branded one from taps commissioned during the SAB Miller ownership. I've never been familiar if Lukr actually manufactured this version. www.instagram.com/p/DF-2ejXP3yl/
