Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 05/07/2026We have only a couple pours of Tennent's left on side pull. The milktube has this pleasant toasted/nutty finish but that isn't for everybody. Also, it seems the Scots have found this video on TT. 011
Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 05/07/2026Zeman's was a small brewery in Lake County, open from 1942-1964. This ad is from Draugas, a Lithuanian paper. Published 1950-12-09, No. 285, Vol XXXIV, pg 2. 120
Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 05/05/2026By my estimation, Hopewell Pocha is the first Chicagoland lager marketed as a Korean style (or Japanese lager) that doesn't use rice. All malt! 020

Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 06/02/2026České Švýcarsko is apparently a national park I found by just searching Czech Switzerland. And a call back to one of our first Lukr features, Roaring Table Pilsner (which became Concordance) and Phase Three P3 American Pils. July 18 2021. A early and rough hladinka here in the British mug here. 010
Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 06/02/2026Tonight for #EatDrinkHighwood we have Czech Service by way of our own Bohemian Switzerland. Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 11/10/2025I like a lot about cask service, but one of my favorite things is seeing the marked history across these casks, some that have probably 40 years of service. This was once used at Flossmoor Station. 000
Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 01/08/2025Micro matic has a 16" column tower [DS-132-PSS-C] which gives a good height for Lukr activities out of the box. Normal towers are 12-13 inches, only good for short mugs. It needs the American shank adapter, the shank holes are spinstops so won't fit Lukr shanks without machining the shank hole. 110

Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 02/05/2025The silly Japanese style business calendar for May! Rice probably has only a handful left. Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 07/01/2025Two side by side pulls on that 45° did collide in this config. But they fit on this 8" depth drip tray. (I've always loved the American box T Tower. And eventually we'll work up to this. Lukr tower always the dream) 110

Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 20/12/2024Two don't fit with the straight flanges, though you can get one Lukr shank + elbow plus a short standard shank. Straight flanges allow the side pulls to come out 90° from each other which makes them fit in a long drip tray. We do that but with the US shank adapter. 110
Beermiscuous Highwood @beermiscuoushw.bsky.social · 20/12/2024It's certainly a little tight, but two Lukr supplied 60mm shanks fit in a 75mm tower with these particular ~45°? tower flanges, and these elbows. It does make the faucets stick out at a different angle, affecting the drip tray zone. Though not as long. 120
