If there is one third of Americans witnessing this level of discord and still voting Republican, then your President is not the problem. He is a reflection of the rot that has taken hold in your country. As a Canadian watching from a distance, we are just hoping it doesn’t bleed over the border.

People are not outraged enough about our tax dollars being used to deliver care at the “privatized rate.” Sure, we just have to show our health card, but we are ultimately not getting the same VALUE as we did before private clinics. Why pay 100$ for something we are to able to pay 70$?🤬

I’m not sure how many studies disproving ineffectiveness of privatization at improving wait times need to be done before Canadians stop voting for Premiers who keep promoting privatization as solutions for our health systems. If MAGAs aren’t too bright, some Cdns are far behind either.

Do you really need to visit Gaza to recognize the ignorance of your comment? More than 74,000, Palestinians killed since Oct 7, incl. 20,000 children. And just stfu before you start conflating Hamas with Palestinians.

AB keeps voting exactly the same prov govt for decades but blame the Feds for everything. Perpetual “victims.”

Trump is lucky that the Chinese have such a poker face. You gotta know that inside, they are laughing hard. What’s really sad are the MAGAs who haven’t a clue how embarrassed they ought to be but aren’t.

Tbh, I am puzzled how anyone could still vote for this woman who has managed to make a mess of things from all sides.

This is exactly why people find Americans, and all those in sanctimonious western countries for that matter, repulsive. The US always goes elsewhere to start their wars, bombing other countries to bits, but the only way Americans will react is when their gas prices get too high?

bee3688.bsky.social @bee3688.bsky.social · 23/09/2026
But his MAGA disciples will claim that the president is not even taking a salary bc he’s doing his good work for the benefit of everyone.

Please don’t take this as victim blaming but why don’t Americans ever wonder why they get so much hate? Always this flimsy belief that those who wish you harm are jealous of your “freedom?” You never once consider how your govt’s foreign policy/wars/ meddling has put your citizens in harm’s way. Why?

Ford was a Trump wannabe; a stupid man that insists on breaking what wasn’t broken. Like healthcare and schools, it needed some fixing but leave it to Ford to just break, dismantle and sell off to the benefit of his private developer friends. Clueless Ontarians need to stop voting for this dumb*ss.

It feels like Americans have been living in an echo chamber of American exceptionalism for so long. It’s perpetuated by your government, media, education system, each other…I don’t think anything can really change until you can really see how others see you.

What does it say about a nation who had 77+ million citizens voting for a convicted felon a SECOND TIME? Not enough Americans are reflecting on this part. It’s easy to place all the blame on Donald Trump, but you’re ignoring the fact that your president is a reflection of his electorate.

US needs also to understand that even if DT dies tomorrow, status quo will not return. He made it ok for Americans to show their true colours and it’s not a good look. You voted for DT, not once but TWICE. A country and its people cannot be trusted when dependant an a 4y election cycle. It’s over.

Honestly, this dumbass move doesn’t merit a response. It only shows what a fool he is. To anyone in his administration that thinks this orange lump is still fit to lead, all I can say is the US deserves the acceleration in decline that’s coming.

This latest childish tactic meant to further irritate Canadians doesn’t even merit a response. He is a fool. When Republican politicians can’t stand up to him, they too are further diminished. And voters who keep supporting Republican candidates? They only serve to further America’s decline.

Sure. How convenient. More western propaganda to portray China as some boogie man and continue to portray narrative that China can’t be trusted in trade, all while US wages trade wars on everyone else.

How can you promote the free trade of American agricultural products when clear food safety issues have emerged in US? Bully other countries into accepting inferior quality standards? No thanks.

What does it matter whether it’s 25 or 50%? Neither is workable. It’s like tariff wars with China. You can raise it however you want, but after a certain amount, it’s just f*#*%*! ridiculous and makes him look like a fool. And if Americans don’t get this, they’re the fools who voted in the idiot.

Ford is a mini-Trump. Everything he touches turns to💩. Listen to the oaf speak when he’s not scripted. The guy is dumb as rocks, but the real flaw is not realizing this shortcoming which comes paired with his massive ego. Businessman? More like dumbass.

Exactly. While it may feel good to react with emotion, it doesn’t serve our purpose. We don’t need reciprocal tariffs to discourage the purchase of American products. We are plenty mad enough to do it on our own. And even from a food safety perspective, we are better off buying local. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Trump punches someone and then gets upset bc they punch back. Threatens punches again while demanding you’re not allowed to defend yourself. Whether trade or the Iran war, he is the most dangerous TERRORIST in the world. And he has an entire party, not a few fringe, of willing accomplices.

Yes, Trump has introduced new lows, but at least he doesn’t pretend to care about anything but self interest. Unfortunately, I can’t understand how he still manages to poll 30-40% in approval ratings. It really doesn’t make one particularly sympathetic to the avg Trump supporter.

bee3688.bsky.social @bee3688.bsky.social · 13/07/2026
Even before Trump, Americans weren’t quite the shiny beacon they think they are. I am surprisingly puzzled by the ignorance of Americans about how they truly are perceived around the world. You might have heard nice things to your face, but the US has been a big bully for decades.
