I feel like the difference between left and right cables is more obvious when cabling with a single ply yarn, and much less obvious when cabling with a well balanced multi ply yarn. So that's the base of my theory. I've never done swatches to confirm though.

I think there's always a slight difference if you've got cables twisting in different directions. I think it's due to the twist of the yarn (z or s) but I could be wrong.

Working on a new top for myself combining crochet and hand sewing. It's creativity and function and a little something different.

Oh absolutely, a faster charging 40kWh battery would make this trip much easier. And range anxiety isn't a problem with proper infrastructure. (Which we don't have yet, but it's getting better.)

We spent 40min on the level 2 charger, that's how long it took to get a burger at Al's Pizza Place. Then we drove 15min to a different fast charger. This isn't perfect if you've got to keep a schedule. But it's getting less frequent with more charging locations. #EVcar #driveElectric #electricCar

Just 1.5miles down the road, we're charging at the town library while we walk to a pizza place. The mid level charger is slow so we'll only stop long enough to get the range to reach the next fast charger. #EVcar #driveElectric #electricCar

First charging stop is 2hrs and 94miles in to our trip. There are a lot of mountains between home and this rest stop so my battery was down to 7% but I've done this route many times. One car plugged in but the other charger open. #electricCar #EVcar #driveElectric

First socks of the year! The wedges in the cuffs are all worked with short rows. Then I left the self stripping yarn alone for the feet. It's a twist on a very old pattern.

We have a "no tech in the bedrooms" rule. I've wanted a cool wood bread box, jewelry box, cigar box, something to hide them in. But today I decided a cheap cardboard box is better than looking at that mess any longer. #thisIsKindaLikeCrafting

Windsor's shirt got ripped while playing. She attempted to stitch it up herself first, then asked for help. I'd like to note that I have no idea where she got the needle or thread. My children are becoming people who just know how to fix things! #embroidery #visibleMending
