There's an NFT "gallery" that was open for like 20 minutes years ago that has been closed and empty since and whenever I pass its stupid empty dead husk I cheer its demise like it's the first time.

Visited the Piping Plovers at Montrose Beach today, and saw one of their chicks! Didn't manage a photo of the little dude, though. One plover was completely unimpressed by the people unloading kayaks a few feet away 😅 #birds #pipingplovers #chicago

I just wrapped up a 5 week etching class, and I really want to take another. Not taking any printmaking in college has always been a regret- happy I'm rectifying it 20 years(!) later. Etching is very familiar and very foreign at the same time.

We got some snow yesterday and today I decided to go walk by the lakefront, forgetting that walking on sand always wipes me out, and walking on snow always wipes me out, so doing both together might not be smart but oh well. It was really pretty.
