I saw a *really* dumb Quora question in my email and couldn't resist.

Question: I claimed to be a transgender woman to avoid military service, and now I'm being asked for proof. What should I do?

Answer: I believe the next step is to repeatedly double down on convincing them: buying clothes, choosing a new name, learning makeup, getting a new haircut, training your voice, getting facial hair removal, starting hormones, etc. Along the way, you might also meet an attractive man or woman (depending on your preferences, which might surprise you) who falls in love with the new you, not knowing that it’s all a ruse; you feel intensely guilty about playing along, but you‘re too into them to turn them down. Eventually you realize that you didn’t really do it to avoid military service—it was the truth all along, and now you get to live as a woman for real and become the attractive man or woman’s wife.

At least, that’s how it goes in the trans fiction I’ve read. I’m sure real life works the same way!
