Galaxy, especially on a CRT looks incredible. While the remasters look great, something about the softness of the original really gives it a distinct feel and makes the space feel much grander

CELESTE IS SO GOOD AHHHHH hard as nails platformers are a dime a dozen these days, but celeste really nails the balance by almost always feeling completely fair, while ramping up the difficulty significantly from start to finish. when you beat chapter 9, you feel like a platformer GOD.

i've had my eye on Olli Olli World, and it's such a good time. a 2D platformer about skateboarding works as well as you think, which is to say a lot. it has a really great soundtrack as well, and it's a great game you can just play for hours in a flow state.

i was being completely normal and checking the opening fight of the last wish frame by frame and i noticed there's literally NO frames between these two where his arm moves basically 180 degrees the level of restraint the animators had to hold the frame outstands me
