Great post from someone who really knows about water treatment. I have a very old background in pool construction and maintenance, but this analysis goes way beyond that. Still, the hydrogen peroxide they tried to use to kill the algae bloom is a known paint-stripper in high concentrations.

Well, that was fun today. Went to the doctor for my 6mo checkup. First remark, "Good lord you've been working out a lot." (Bulgy thighs, biceps, and shoulders will do that.) Blood labs are fine. BP & resting heart rate are excellent. 2nd statement, "Keep this up, you're gonna live forever."

I'm not sure what infuriates me more, the rape itself, the fact Ms. Drewes had to go fully public, or that there will still be many who call her a liar. I know from direct experience what sudden total incapacitation after just 1 drink feels like. It's terrifying. This is NOT consent.

This is why most regular consumer automatic bread and rice makers do not cook right where I currently live, also 'slow cookers' will boil their contents. Low air pressure = water boils at 198F/92C here. I've had to find workarounds and adaptations.
