In 2022, the U.S. exceeded 90,000 tons of spent nuclear fuel in storage around this country. This fuel is frozen in place b/c federal government has vacated its responsibility to move forward with a long term isolation strategy. How many tons will it be before we do something?

For your alternative to be the better option, you’re saying your idea is better than his. Unless you came here to offer a WORSE option. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Seems way less complex to me to use the MI COL than develop a cross border, multi-government project. So I’d say you’re offering a worse option for sure.
