I honestly feel like the first half of the episode was a series of improv exercises they filmed. Between the bizarre player requests, the unhinged head office phone call, and the beautiful profile building, it just looked like they took the "yes and" theme of the lesson and just had fun with it.

I reject the premise of this article. The "problem" the machines are "solving" is not "I have to give someone my order." It's "I have to pay someone to take orders." The machines were never intended to make customers' lives easier, but to make companies' costs lower.
