For a few years The Airplane were just about my favorite American band. One of my 1st ever concerts was The Airplane (w/ locals the Lemon Pipers) @ Cincinnati Gardens in December, 1967. I was 17, a senior in high school. The show was fantastic & we hung around the stage & got to talk to the band. ☮️😎
