So it’s been a wee while… Until 3 weeks ago hubby had managed 14 whole months without a full overnight hospitalisation 🥳 Sadly that also means I haven’t had a single day off for all of that time and I’m a little whacked and not prone to being how people are enjoying “real lives” [cont.]

So I’ve been very absent. TLDR Nov hubby came home with strict instructions to keep his legs elevated or risk losing them. Dec & Jan I spent living hour to hour over whether he’d last another day. End of Feb paralysed leg removed above knee. Much improved! He’s back home and I’m exhausted. Fuck me
