Would love to, but you're not releasing it on PC so I can't.

My father picked up a Kenwood stack system back in the 90's, it was amazing, and was still working up to a few years ago. Damn good value for money back then.

As someone who (just about) remembers the Mega Drive and SNES launches nearly 40 years ago, I'm pretty certain young people today would simply assume I'm too old to still be alive.

I grew up playing games on CRT's, and I always wondered what the pixel art looked like without being 'ruined' by the TV.

Late To The Beard Party @beardparty.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Perhaps you should listen to the people who actually play games, rather than the corporations who pay you off.

As a long time PC gamer I've seen many games only get collector's editions for the console versions and none for PC, so the idea of a platform agnostic collector's edition has some appeal. Though, they could at least give us the option to choose a platform to get a regular copy of the game bundled.

I've ignored this game on Steam due to the use of AI. I've ignored over 4000 games on Steam due to use of AI. I'll ignore more since I want my games to be 100% human made.

Late To The Beard Party @beardparty.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Using AI to Necrotise anyone years after their death is unnacceptable.

Any comment on the Steam preload breaking and everyone having to redownload the entire 92gb game?

Late To The Beard Party @beardparty.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

If I find ads being injected into any of my games like that I'm demanding a refund.

010

Late To The Beard Party @beardparty.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I'd put a trapped treasure back there.

I think it would have to be Exile for the BBC Micro Computer, technically a Metroidvania though it released about 15 years before the term was coined. I was fascinated by the whole thing as I'd never seen anything like it and was determined to beat it, though I never did manage that without cheats.

Late To The Beard Party @beardparty.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Anyone who entertains this, thing, is insulting the entire acting industry. It is a product of corporate execs who resent the fact they have to pay human actors, so a virtual one they don't have to pay is preferrable.

011

Late To The Beard Party @beardparty.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Dear Sony, Thank you for removing my ability to buy and play one of your games. I wasn't going to get a PS5 and I'm still not going to. Regards.

Screen shot from my Steam Wishlist showing Horizon Forbbiden West no longer available because Sony don't want PC customers anymore.

Snatcher and Yumimi Mix both had fantastic openings.

My worst gaming sin is I pre-ordered the original collector's editions of both Witcher 2 & 3, which released back in 2011 and 2014, didn't actually play either of them until 2021.

A search that will push her to her limits and beyond. Stuck between her desire for revenge and a corrupt world she never wanted to see. Rose's biggest challenge will be avoiding becoming a personification of her own name. A flower of death.

010

Late To The Beard Party @beardparty.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

UK resident here, can only find it via my Wishlist and it blocks me from viewing the store page, I don't understand why this is as I can still view Baldur's Gate 3.

The worst crafting mini-game I've ever played was in Haunting Ground on PS2. Crafting materials are limited supply, crafting is random chance and skill-based. First time I tried, lost all materials I had and got nothing for my efforts.

000

Late To The Beard Party @beardparty.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I've seen this a lot at the cons I've been to, but I always make the effort to stop and look at every stall, without allowing anything to let me skip someone. I'd hate to think how the people there feel as they watch potential new fans just walk by without seeing their work.

At least you're not trying to get Snatcher or Panzer Dragoon Saga.

This also works with the pipe the character has as a melee weapon.
