Parrots can and do live long lives. Samantha is a red crowned (or Mexican Red Head) Amazon parrot. She came to live with us 32 years ago. She was 6 years old at the tme. During her time with us she has survived two dogs and has destroyed thousands of cardboard boxes.

There's a state constitutional ammendment proposed in Florida to legalize cannabis for ALL adults. State and county officials are going all out to decertify and throw out as many petition signatures as they can. This is the second time the state has tried to tip the scales on this issue.

A MAGA guy down the street is trying to sell his house. The FOR SALE sign has been on his lawn right next to his Trump 2024 sign with his faded Trump flag waving above. I've watched as potential buyers stop, look at the signs and drive off. Yesterday, all his Trump effluvia was removed. Musta hurt.
