I’m fascinated with authors who write series and how they handle passage of time. Do they age their characters? Keep the setting and character age and time the same so everything is eventually set in the past? Modernize the timeframe but maintain character age? How do they decide?

Once it's used, it's the slipperiest of slippery slopes. We can't allow politicians to pick and choose which rights they allow and which they effectively erase with the Clause. As invoking the Notwithstanding Clause becomes normalized, no one's rights are safe. Left, right, or centre.
