This looks sick, I haven't seen an Aurora Borealis yet. Highlight for me was to be able to see a pinkish tint in the sky when I used my phone to take long-exposure shots of the sky here. Also ironic to have those posts next to each other haha. Over here in Berlin each night is just... black. 😭

Chart comparing SSR memory usage for Next.js 16 App Router across 4,000 server-rendered pages. Bun v1.3.14 shows a severe memory leak, climbing to a peak of 1,983 MB and settling at 1,901 MB. Bun v1.4 fixes the leak and settles at 238 MB, using less memory than Node v26.5, which settles at 410 MB. The benchmark uses a stock create-next-app with React 19.2 and a React.cache-wrapped no-store fetch on a dynamic route.

Thanks for the quick reply. I refreshed my login and approved the permission to write to my PDS but it seems to still not pick up my scrobbles. It shows the mini player on the page though with the right song.

I wouldn't mind having local LLMs available, not just for coding but for general use (like "organize my folders", "browse this website and extract X for me", etc.) That's the current price for a Spark? or are there cheaper models?

Screenshot of a LinkedIn post by Tim Robert Heinz Obermeier. The post reads: “I fired my own mother because I didn't like the bread she made me for work! 👌🤯

As an entrepreneur, it is important to use your time wisely and invest in yourself and your own company. Of course, the focus should be primarily on ragebait posts on LinkedIn instead of creating added value for society. If you then manage to present yourself as a victim, nothing stands in the way of a career as a future OMR speaker. 🚀

It was all the more a shame that my mother put normal cream cheese on my bread instead of the herb cream cheese for the AGAIN time. For many it may be a simple mistake that can happen to anyone. But my mother is my mother and not everyone. Not EVERYONE would fold my laundry because at 26 I can't. Not EVERYONE would clean my childhood room because I'm too busy being a LinkedIn-holic. And that's why I had to take the consequences and kicked her out of her house. 😤

So if you are looking for a job, contact me. I pay with love (if you can remember what my favorite cream cheese is). 💼❤️

How do you feel about this? Was my reaction understandable or exaggerated? 🤔”

Below the post is a close-up selfie of a man wearing a backwards black cap and a white earbud, holding a finger to his lips. Large meme text reads: “ENTSPANN DICH SCHNEEFLOCKE” at the top and “DAS IST NUR MEINE MEINUNG” at the bottom.

I am looking forward to this new project and believe that we will achieve great things here! 😎” Below the text is a selfie of a smiling man with dark curly hair, a moustache, facial piercings, and a thumbs-up gesture. A LinkedIn job-update card underneath reads “Neue Position.”Screenshot of a LinkedIn post by Tim Robert Heinz Obermeier. The post reads: “And so my final chapter at JUSTADDSUGAR is coming to an end earlier than expected. At my own request, I'm leaving the company to fulfill my childhood dream at the age of 26: being self-employed as a funny man on the Internet. 🎭

I haven't really realized it yet, but I'm really looking forward to putting Bavaria back on the map with Severin Meier.

Nevertheless, a big shoutout to JUSTADDSUGAR and Linus Specht, who showed me in my last permanent position that my admittedly very niche and special strengths can also be used effectively. That's why it hurts me a bit that I'm leaving now, but if you're unemployed and talented, I can really recommend the shop to you. 😎

Also big thanks to Dr. Robert Obermeier, for giving birth to me. You have become like a father to me! Diggi honor campaign 🤠 (Unfortunately, Mamer doesn’t have a LinkedIn)

Well, now I no longer have to secretly make these stupid posts during my working hours, but they ARE MY WORKING TIME. GEILLLLL. Because making fun of your boss is especially fun when you're the boss yourself.

We'll see each other at the latest when I'm taken apart by the tax office in 2 years because I have kp from taxes. 🤪

Kind regards
Mr. Comedy

The only and true way to use LinkedIn:
Screenshot of a LinkedIn post by Tim Robert Heinz Obermeier. The post reads: “Spain is football world champion 🤩 And as I saw on LinkedIn, we can take a lot from this for the business world. Here are the most important learnings summarized: - Spanish companies are in Spain 🚀 - Better to have Messi in the storm than in the accounting department 📕 - If you shoot (throw) a ball (file) with full force into the balls (into the halls) of the captain (the boss) in the first half (before the lunch break), this will be punished with a red card (termination without notice) 😡 What other learning did you find so irrelevant that you absolutely had to post it on LinkedIn? ⚽” Below is a meme-style image showing three men at a football stadium with oversized edited heads and the German text: “Spanien ist WM Weltmeister der WM!”

As you can see - some of them are just generic "norse" bullshit but some even include right wing dogwhiste stuff like that "Germany + Russia" album or "Sächsisches Blut" (Saxon Blood)

YouTube Music really needs a better algorithm. My "Explore" feed is full with AI generated trash, partially even including German right wing bullshit that is borderline Nazi music. I never liked an AI song once, hell I don't even hear this type of music that somehow tags could overlap.

Trying to teach @coderabbitai.bsky.social how Stacked PRs work. What does your night look like?
A GitHub screenshot showing developer bdbch patiently trying to explain the concept of stacked PRs to an AI reviewer (coderabbitai) that is having a mild existential crisis over unmerged code. bdbch insists #8200 is fine, CodeRabbit insists it is distressed, bdbch calls it a "code sandwich," and CodeRabbit reluctantly agrees while secretly judging.

So Opencode just silently dropped their Zero Data Retention info because of the new DeepSeek v4 Flash update I assume? opencode.ai/docs/go/#pri... What a shame, I'd rather use the old one and keep ZDR instead of now basically not being able to trust the providers anymore.

After years of making everyone build their own find-and-replace extension, we have decided that this should perhaps be our problem too. Coming very soon. More small OSS extensions will follow for other things you should never have needed to implement yourself.

Teach your kids about capitalism by making one of them clean the bathroom. Pay them 3$ while you keep 7$. Then reject the other kid a job & access to money and throw them out of the house. Also make sure to tell your other kid that the sibling is lazy & the reason he only makes 3$.
Screenshot of a social media exchange. The first post says socialism means paying one child $10 to clean a bathroom, then taking $7 and giving it to a sibling who did no work. A Norwegian replies with a more realistic example: both children work and earn $10, each contributes $2.60 to a shared fund, and when one gets sick, they still receive income instead of losing that day’s pay.

I'm currently test-running Opencode Go (10$ sub) and I'm honestly amazed. It does lack models like OpenAI's or Anthropics but the low-cost models really amazed me for how much they offer you. This is my usage after 2 weeks of heavy usage.

I think RSS is an underrated technology. Since there seemingly are no really good RSS readers that are cross-platform and not local-first I decided to build one. This is heavily WIP and far from finished. Would anyone be interested in something like that? (Stack: Tauri + local sqlite)

Playing around with Godot a bit - I grew up with 16 bit RPGMaker 2000 games and I miss that style of games a bit. Now I want to try to replicate as many things as possible from those old engines on Godot with more control over code. Lets see how far I get this.

More progress today. Pumped out a few lines of code yesterday and got the feed working now. It's not perfect, the header is to big, the page is not scrolling up, the search is flakey but we're getting there. Going to fix bugs today and then continue onwards to sub-pages & the home feed + feeds.

Is this the general feeling the US builders/tech scene has about europe? I mean yeah, our laws can be tough but they exist for a good reason. Just because there's a bad actor doesn't mean all of us don't want to do business or try to rip the US off.
