I think I’m way over hyper realism in games because I watched some of that new trailer for GTA6 and it did nothing for me. It looks good visually but…eh, nothing excited me. Gunfights looked boring and nothing tickled my brain.

Together in a nice package. The masses love that phrase “open world”. On the flip side, I watched that trailer for the HBO show. Not only is it just retreading the same story but it seems to be doing it with much much less pomp and circumstance. Sets looks bad. Production values are low.

I’m not so sure. Hogwarts Legacy had a great pitch to Harry Potter fans “finally explore hogwarts in an open world environment and live the life of a hogwarts student”. Sure the castle or whatever has been exploitable in other games but from what I can tell that was the first to really tie it all
