Rocco Baldelli was hand-picked by Derek Falvey in 2019. For the past seven seasons, Baldelli served as Falvey's manager and collaborator. And then Monday, in being fired, Baldelli served as Falvey's shield. 📖Read: www.nytimes.com/athletic/667...

Rocco Baldelli’s final act as fired Twins manager is shielding the front office

Baldelli took the fall for back-to-back ugly seasons, but what does that solve if the Twins' ownership and front office remain unchanged?

The #MNTwins fired Rocco Baldelli after seven season. And after making a mighty large payroll reduction two seasons ago. www.nytimes.com/athletic/667...

How much longer are we as #MNTwins fans going to be forced to endure Vazquez with a bat in his hand? It’s a crime against potential

@aarongleeman.bsky.social is there a place where I can find batting averages per pitch? IE: what do guys hit on the first pitch of at bats, & is there a sweet spot for pitches seen?

With how 2024 ended and how the team played this spring and through opening weekend I wonder how long before the anti-Baldelli voices sound?

Teaching *Blade Runner* this week (a favorite),which resonates in all sorts of new ways atm. Here’s a fun 30 sec re-enactment of it with bunnies (created by Jennifer Shiman): #BladeRunner #dystopia #futurenoir #cyberpunk @williamgibson.bsky.social www.angryalien.com/aa/bladerunn...

Pictured is a cartoon re-enactment of an early scene from the film Blade Runner which is written above the image. Instead of human characters, however, there are two cartoon bunnies sitting across from one another at an interrogation table with a ceiling fan above

With two elite hitting prospects and strong pitching depth, this is as well-stocked as the Twins' farm system has looked in a decade.

It’s crazy seeing how angry Twins fans are. They technically don’t need anything but health. We could use a lefty reliever and we should get an upgrade at 1st base, but people are acting like the Twins are the WhiteSox

The Wolves look done. Uninspired and not good team basketball. We need at least 30 assists a game for this offense to work 33-35 to make it roll. Conley is a shell, Randle is sticky, & the cracks in Rudy’s game are getting deeper. We need changes in the lineup, or maybe a Nori coached team?!!?
