It was a fun film, maybe a little predictable at times, animation varied wildly (one of the final crowd shots outside the law office was atrocious), some of the jokes fell flat but overall a good watch, shouldn't have been written off and I'm glad it was saved!

I bought this Superman sketch cover last year and finally got around to doing something with it (By the way, these are all real DC characters)

For the last day of #septENMber, we now return to the startling conclusion of The Thing’s daring battle with Doom! Page 1/3

We open on a sprawling, smashed up New York City Street. Crowds of citizens gather in the background as Fantastic Fur's 'The Thing' (notably a bulldog) kicks Duck-tor Doom (a Duck) off of the page. Doom screams "Heed my words, you colossal cretin, you’ve not seen the last of Ducktor Doo-" OOF! The Thing remarks "Yeah, yeah. Take a hike, creep! An' if I catch you disturbing the good people of Manhattan again, you’ll get your duck ass handed to you on a platter!". People mutter between themselves as they emerge out of cover. I must mention that The Things shorts have become so stretched/wound up during the fight that they resemble a speedo.

The Thing claps his hands together and turns to the crowd "There… these streets are clean once again! Now are any of youse folks hurt or…hello?". The crowd has disappeared.

The Thing frowns. "An there they go, great. No wonder they’re cutting lose! Wit an ugly mug like mine, I’d run fer the hills after one look too!"

Pulling up his shorts, the underside wedged firmly between his exposed ass cheeks, he mutters "Speaking of loose, damn waistband! You clobber a few goons, run around the block and suddenly Reeds' fancy Elastic is good fer nothing!"

Ker-Snap! A flash glares out from behind as The thing is suddenly shocked "-Wait a sec..."

He turns to a figure in the background "Hey, did-did youse just take a picture?!"

Btw all 3 pages were inked traditionally on a3 board, colour and pencils digital. The newspaper photos were done in a weird way to achieve that halftone effect, all on my patreon!
