I can't help thinking that you've avoided the real reason for the furore about the shirt. The shoulder design is an exact copy of the top of the sleeve design of the 1998 shirt so they've just moved it up and onto the shoulder. I like the shirt apart from the obvious rear sponsor.

Been watching football since I was 12, VAR has not impacted a single game that I've attended. You need to get back to football where VAR isn't used. Refs fuck ups etc. are part of the football experience. VAR is only ruining the corporate multi million pound soccer experience. I'm happy for them.

My idea for beating King Donald and his tariffs. We should not introduce counter tariffs, instead we should boycott as many US products and services as possible. Secondly, if you are visiting the US do not tip. Why should we make up the wages of people in the US whilst they threaten our livelihoods.

The people that really pay the tariffs are the consumers aren't they? A 200% tariff on eggs means the foreign egg supplier charges the same price, the egg importer pays the tariffs and then charges the consumer the new inflated price. Only hurts the producer if consumers don't buy eggs. I think.

So I think we should do what Trump wants. Disband NATO. It serves no purpose. The US wants Europeans to protect Europe. There is a price though. All US bases and facilities in Europe to be reclaimed and Europeans to buy no arms or technology from the US.
