For the display this month @bavarianerin.bsky.social wanted to feature Eisner nominated series and creators!!

Erin Tapken @bavarianerin.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

A total of about 9 people worked to make this post happen, and that doesn't even include the creators we feature in it! 😳 The Ublog is pretty good at teamwork! 🫶🏻 Anyway...if you have SDCC news to share, you can email us at info@sdccblog.com

Some things, I don't love as much as I used to. Other things, I love more now than I ever did. Am I evolving?

I'm a week removed from #SDCC and finally fully unpacked and settled. I wish I had seen more people, but I loved meeting all the @sdccblog.com readers. It always causes a spike in my endorphins when connecting with online friends and acquaintances. 💜 I'll try to ride this high a little bit longer!

This was a hard review to write because I saw the vision, but the execution needed streamlining and I could not ignore the fact that my experience as a "press" member was soooo different from other attendees.

Have you been lucky enough to get your hands on a Labubu? I haven't, so I decided to make my own. Maybe you will be lucky enough to find this LaCrochetchet at SDCC. Follow me to know when I drop this little guy. You find him, you keep him. #minicritterdrop

Tonight we played a game from Deadbolt Mystery Society & it was a very special one we were able to personalize the detective's name on, so of course we picked our sweet pug. ☺️ She has been gone for four years now, & it still hurts, but it's also nice to remember her with silly things like this!💜

Various paperwork that says the name "Paxton Rhubarb" on it.

Today is the 4th anniversary of when we said goodbye to our 16 year old pug, Paxton Rhubarb. I still miss her every single day, but her memory brings more smiles than tears now. She was a good sport and put up with my antics (anything for a treat!) Please hug your fur babies for me today. 💜

I try not to keep too many of the comics that come through my store (selling, not keeping them, is my livelihood after all) but this @jmdematteis.bsky.social creation is sending me. She fires razor tipped 🥕 from her 🌂!
