Laughing at these two images of ladies/girls singing, but their annoying brothers are dancing in the background, because mom forced them to take their little brothers 😂

Girls: we want to start a band
Mom: okay but take your brother with you Can I go singing? yeah but take your brother oh, and the cat

I just returned books to the La Crescenta LA County library branch and they looked so exhausted after filling out so many Hello Kitty card applications and they’re totally out. I think they were almost relieved that I wasn’t coming in for one. Though I probably would’ve gotten one tbh

www.gogophotocontest.com/pasadenahuma... Vote for my cat Coco Sally from the Pasadena Humane Society @pasadenahumane.org and support lots of animals with your donation!
Pasadena Humane said I was picked up as part of a T&R for a feral colony in 2024, but I was too nice to be released back out. So when one of the PH staff members recommended me to my humans, my new family took me home that same day. I live with my best buddy, a big black dog, and a dumb gray kitten (that came later from the Pasadena Humane Society like me). I keep asking my humans to return the kitten, but I guess he’s growing on me. I allow pets sometimes, but if you overdo it and pet me a little too much, I might bite you. My human family loves me anyway and I really do love them most of the time. I try not to show them that I care, but it slips out sometimes and I purr a bit (but then take a swipe at them just because I can). They call me a pretty girl and I kind of like it when they do that (please don’t tell them). I laid down in the sink to tell them to clean it because it wasn’t up to my standards.

IN MEMORIAM
Rocky the Squirrel
(2025(?) - 2026)

LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - The JPL Softball League is saddened to report the passing of Rocky, beloved squirrel, occasional acorn collector, and part-time spectator of the JPL Softball League.
Rocky's life was tragically cut short during pre-game warmups on a beautiful evening at Hahamongna.
Witnesses report that Rocky was enjoying a routine stroll near the field when fate intervened in the form of an errant throw from third base.

The throw, intended for first base, achieved the level of pinpoint accuracy typically reserved for landing spacecraft millions of miles from Earth. Unfortunately, the object it acquired was not part of the planned mission trajectory.
Despite briefly retreating from the scene, Rocky ultimately succumbed to his injuries, leaving teammates, opponents, and nearby wildlife in stunned silence.

Later in the game, while advancing
players will still remember the
to first base, the player responsible
squirrel who took one for the team.
for Rocky's passing was struck in the shoulder by a throw from the infield.

The third baseman declined to be identified; however, sources confirmed the throw originated from Ana Morino.

In a post-game interview, she noted, "I think Rocky got his revenge."

A memorial service will not be held, as squirrels generally prefer to keep such matters private.

In lieu of flowers, attendees are encouraged to double-check the
flight path of all warmup throws and pour out a handful of sunflower seeds in Rocky's memory.
Though his time with us was brief, Rocky's impact on the JPL Softball League will not soon be forgotten. Long after the score of this game has been forgotten,
players will still remember the
squirrel who took one for the team.

Rest easy, Rocky. 🐾

Obituaries are published as a service to the community. Remembrances may be submitted to editor@thefoothillsnews.com.Rocky the squirrel, obituary hung up on the JPL softball fence at Hahamongna park
