We’re having a beautiful day here after cold & rainy yesterday I even went to the grocery store for only 2 items just to get outside in the sunshine for a little bit Still more humid than I like but our autumns are our best season I think so it’ll get even better

It’s definitely end of summer in Northern ON. I made artisanal bread today. Then made salmon & avocado sushi rolls. I closed the windows for the night - that have been open since May. But the real tip-off? My cats are laying on the bed & blankets instead of the cold laminate floor lol

Summer lion cut 😹 She can’t groom her long fur as easily anymore and she *hates* getting brushed so I bought a trimmer so I could do the is for her at home. She actually likes getting her hair did!

Lucifurr now does this to get onto the bed. She’s 20 this year (!) & too arthritic to use the pet stairs to get up so she sits on the first stair & taps the bed If I’m not paying attention she will eventually give a little meow but usually it’s just politely waiting for me to do the right thing
