Liberals forget that they are not entitled to votes simply because they are the lesser of two evils. What has happened in the UK tells trans people and their allies that capitulating on issues of trans rights costs both rights and actual human lives.

Bullshit. We’re watching Dems call trans women “men” and constant placate to Republican framings. The obvious, inevitable conclusion is that Democrats are willing to throw trans people under the bus in order to gain power. Instead of scolding people, push Democrats to be better.

I know of a least a few young men who most likely have CTE. Team sports are amazing for young children. That much is undeniable, but football presents such an incredibly high injury risk that is unjustifiable for young children and their families.

I loved football and enjoyed playing it as a child. My career ended on a head injury, and luckily I came out of my years in the sport neurologically unscathed. As for my peers, not so much. I watched a peer have to helicoptered out of practice for a contusion.

My wife and I are political refugees from Texas. We did not move to Colorado simply for the natural beauty. We moved because we couldn’t afford to see the end of this upcoming state legislative session. I’m disgusted that our plight is being compared to just being annoyed.

i’ve been thinking of what could even be said about such a tragedy. someone said it best that trans people are “born so late and die so young”. we uproot our lives and transition and live more life than anyone else ever does and society punishes us for it. we deserve better
