Letterboxd posters for Ms. 45, Digger, Forgotten Island, and Plan 9 from Outer Space

Ms. 45 (1981) - The elephant in the room is the rape. But beyond that is a strong revenge thriller that I can't currently explain why I found so altertive. But I'm a sucker for old NYC in cinema, and it barely eeked into my Halloween list due to an unexpected costume party at the end. And not for nothing, but I started looking for an affordable print of that fantastic poster.

Digger (2026) - Feeling like I've already turned this ironic, my love for this flick is genuine, despite the vocal Filmsky who think the fans are lying to sound "film literate" (me? Literate?). I find this VERY flawed-- or I think I do-- but maybe after my 3rd rewatch those sharp edges will be filed off the shovel. Or in other words, I simply don't know how anyone can *hate* this swing if you love movies.

Forgotten Island (2026) - Currently bombing alongside Digger, it figures that I really dug(!) both films. Not to repeat myself too much, but this movie is not what's being sold. It is not generic Dreamworks slop, even if the humor didn't always work for me.

Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957) - My first time watching, believe it or not, but let's say that the "worst movie of all time" legacy wasn't a huge draw. But it's far from that-- way too much fun and interesting stuff going on (Tor!!!). But if Filmsky wants to discredit me for anything, my freshman viewing was the Rifftrax version (sue me, I enjoyed myself 😛)
