Mark @basedpractice.com · 31/08/2026We got this bullshit before we got zero sugar Code Red in Minnesota. 000
Mark @basedpractice.com · 14/07/2026I was asked to share the attached video with the backpack and whistle. 050
Mark @basedpractice.com · 14/07/2026(Cont.) It’s obvious they quickly realized it was in incredible poor taste and muted that part of the VOD everywhere (in including Spotify). Still, I felt like I had to say something. I emailed their info@ address (screenshots with alt text). 1280
Mark @basedpractice.com · 14/07/2026Last night I watched the latest WAN Show (Linus Tech Tips), and came across a spot in the VOD where the audio was muted. Turns out, Linus made a very poor taste “joke”/reference to Alex Pretti: “I think that’s a dead guy. Is that Alex Pretti?”. I found a recording. (Cont…). 44511
Mark @basedpractice.com · 28/06/2026I rarely walk into stores these days, so when I do there tends to be something new of trending. This time it’s… gamer razors? 120
Mark @basedpractice.com · 13/06/2026I see @bsky.app looked at 2014 Kik as an example of a relevant app and decided to give that a try. It's not relevant, by the way. 100
Mark @basedpractice.com · 07/06/2026Luckily I’m Vegas it cooled down a bit to a nice chill 98 degrees for a bit… And I’m glad I’ll be gone before it hits 110°F (43.3°C). 010
Mark @basedpractice.com · 03/06/2026It’s true. We went last fall and in the gift shop, one of the items we picked was this ornament not realizing the price. Got to the checkout and found out it was like $30. Couldn’t be bothered to put it back so we still got it. Makes sense how Stonehenge funds the majority of Heritage projects. 140
Mark @basedpractice.com · 31/05/2026Alright, now that I scrolled down I see the Red, White & Poo shirt. Its almost like they went out of their way to find someone voted most likely to look up to Kid Rock as a role model. 000
Mark @basedpractice.com · 27/04/2026It’s been nice having windows open regularly again. The cats appreciate it too. 040
Mark @basedpractice.com · 16/03/2026She really does not like going to the vet but she’s actually pretty chill on the ride, and more curious and sleepy than anything. Mickey however does NOT like the ride and tried to escape last visit. 010
Mark @basedpractice.com · 03/03/2026Flashback to last week when I spent 3 hours up and down a ladder troubleshooting why a new Meraki MX85 couldn't connect to the WAN gateway, eventually having to revert back to the original hardware. When asked about it, Lumen basically said "Call us next time dummy". I still don't know why. 110
Mark @basedpractice.com · 16/02/2026When Minnesota is getting the annual teaser for spring, it’s windows open time and of course the cats love it. These two get along but don’t always see eye to eye, but any problems go out the window the moment it’s open. Pun intended. 051
Mark @basedpractice.com · 07/02/2026"Could you help out a '49er? I fell down the shaft. I got blown up in the tunnel." "That is unfortunate." "It is most unfortunate. I require large amounts of whiskey as a liniment." "I am sorry but I have no whiskey to give you." 092
Mark @basedpractice.com · 07/02/2026This mug is too big for my stroopwafel, making it a… droopwafel. 170
Mark @basedpractice.com · 07/02/2026Today I was down on Grand Ave. Between all the ICE OUT signs, the flags (Especially a showing by ol' laser eyes), it was great to see. There were multiple groups out holding signs and such, including some across bridges over 94. You guys fucking rule. Much different than here in Woodbury. 060
Mark @basedpractice.com · 06/02/2026Here’s a fun one. Tonight after midnight I heard this banging noise coming from I believe the garage, from my office (it’s over the garage). At first I thought it was something outside. Maybe 45min apart I heard it again. This time I checked the camera in garage. Listen (towards end). 110
Mark @basedpractice.com · 04/02/2026Because when I’m shitting on things such as the state of the world, or the abductions and murder occurring here and across the country by the government, I’m ensuring to do so in a sophisticated manner. Pinky up, friends. 030
Mark @basedpractice.com · 31/01/2026Turns out he's dumb enough to try claiming the original too. That's clearly the original work. Fucking hell @defendthe612.bsky.social , figure it out. Let the symbol be what it was meant to be, and not just some glory chase from some asshole. 100
Mark @basedpractice.com · 31/01/2026Okay, this is straight up gross behavior. Hitting on people now? 011
Mark @basedpractice.com · 31/01/2026A fun exercise is to use thetruesize.com and show just how big Minnesota and any state from the Midwest westwards is pretty big. 051
Mark @basedpractice.com · 31/01/2026@defendthe612.bsky.social You should probably get this dude off your homepage, for going around and saying he's the original creator. 020
Mark @basedpractice.com · 31/01/2026This includes using BCC for email blasts by State at the Core. 010
Mark @basedpractice.com · 31/01/2026This is why in general, I've been highly disappointed in Defend612 using third parties for their form (ActionNetwork), and sharing data. Between States at the Core emails and Substack emails to+addresses only dedicated to D612, the signs are the very core is not operating in a secure manner. 140
Mark @basedpractice.com · 31/01/2026I could not identify what they were there for when I drove through the neighborhood, but cars were paired up and posted along many of the streets. Some parked Sheriff vehicles did not have occupants. I did not locate every car that had entered. No signs of immigration enforcement, but uncertain. 220
Mark @basedpractice.com · 30/01/2026Hello friend, I don’t have a complete fix for a bad day, but I do have this cat pic. His name is Mickey. 252
Mark @basedpractice.com · 30/01/2026Four of the five trending posts are all about our state and cities. I miss when the most important topic in our state was the naming of our snowplows. Speaking of which, @governorwalz.mn.gov right after you get done with an eviction moratorium, how about naming one or more plow “Abolish ICE”. 0131
Mark @basedpractice.com · 29/01/2026Hey @defendthe612.bsky.social , Why the random subscriptions to substack? 210
