This is in fact very normal for these people and we've been seeing this for at least 20 years now. Their brains are warped by propaganda, politics is a team sport, and they think the guns they've shot once are what's gonna save them when SHTF. It's been long enough it's normal for them now

That's a terrifying prospect, but I imagine the truth is that they took the P365 Fuse or some other 320 model that they were working on and adapted it to this new thing. I'll be very interested in tear downs and comparisons to the 365 and 320 in the coming months
