baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 07/08/2026We’re looking for a new logo for rsvelte, a project reimplementing the Svelte ecosystem in Rust. When I previously introduced rsvelte here, some people raised concerns about its AI-generated logo, so we’d like to replace it and we need your help! github.com/baseballyama...github.comBetter Project Logo · Issue #2295 · baseballyama/rsvelteI quickly prototyped some non-AI ideas for a clean, simple project Logo. baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 25/07/2026I ran a quick benchmark myself. Since rsvelte is designed for multi-threading, tsv is slightly faster in a single-threaded environment. (With multi-threading, rsvelte is about 40% faster.) bench-formatter looks great. It’d be ideal to include both tsv and rsvelte! 010

This one is for a bunch of cleanup and streamlining of shallow routing (svelte.dev/docs/kit/sha...). It's gonna be part of SvelteKit 3, which is coming along great, prereleases are out on npm already - go try it out!svelte.devShallow routing • SvelteKit DocsShallow routing • SvelteKit documentation 1665

baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 23/07/2026The rsvelte formatter is currently 101× faster than Prettier. We’ve also run corpus tests against more than 12,000 real-world Svelte files, with differences in only 15 files. In other words, the rsvelte formatter achieves a high level of compatibility with Prettier. github.com/baseballyama...github.comGitHub - baseballyama/rsvelte: Rust-powered Svelte ecosystemRust-powered Svelte ecosystem. baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 22/07/2026I wrote an article about rsvelte, a Rust-based toolchain for Svelte. It includes a compiler, formatter, type checker, linter, and LSP. baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 25/06/2026Thanks for using this! If you run into any issues, please open an issue.👍 Please also try @fubits.dev and report any issues you find.👍 @rich-harris.dev is also interested in Svelte component-level tree shaking. If adoption grows, it could eventually be maintained under the Svelte Org.😆 130

baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Humans get about 58% of their information through vision, so visuals are essential for communication. Since I have no artistic skills at all, AI logos are currently my only practical option. Saying "just draw something by hand" is often advice from people who already have artistic ability.😅 200

baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 09/06/2026The current Svelte ecosystem, including the Svelte compiler, will remain the default choice. Our first goal is for rsvelte to be a drop-in replacement for large projects. Native integration with oxc would be ideal for performance, but it’s too early to say. 000
baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 09/06/2026It’s true that I use Claude Code, but I see this as a new development style. The goal is not only to speed up the Svelte ecosystem with Rust and align it with oxc/rolldown, but also to experiment with what could become the future mainstream workflow for developers. 040

baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 08/06/2026Could you draw an icon that is easy to understand visually? Unfortunately, I got the lowest grade in art, so I can’t even draw a simple illustration myself.😅 220

baseballyama @baseballyama.bsky.social · 04/06/2026Please try this experimental feature. This should bring a big performance improvement, especially for large projects that use Svelte with TypeScript. If there are no major issues, we plan to make this the default in the next major version. 1255
